u can tell he's a denier bc he has moves that literally "deny" the enemy team from doing anything like stunning them or draining their stamina

he's got good moves but he's too old of an era. U want something ideally at least feral era. Gobzerkir is mid, if u want a good attacker get something like charm

gold pass is honestly worth, u can get the event board tokens from it and the event board token monsters are both REALLY good especially the support monster, gold pass monster is also the most modern denier possible so u'll have a denier, attacker, support for the hopeflare resource dungeons.
