Personally from what I've seen, most days are either bad luck days where u die on 3 or you get a single lucky run to 20. However, when you get a lucky run, it typically lasts the whole day. I have multiple instances this has happened and for multiple people so it's my best guess. It's why if you're getting out on 3, doing more runs likely won't help by much

I've seen someone get caught on 3 for like 2 months in a row, and then on one day he got 1k gems just from cave plus god knows how many tickets

You're not gonna skip past 3 traps, getting caught 3 times is a bad sign by itself especially getting a trap before floor 7 you only need 15 gems if you're going for 2 traps or 55 if you want to go for the third
