I think he has access to corruption or possession, but besides the cobtrol effects, he's kinda mid. Not many mythics are really considered "good" nowadays because of the existence of Architects, sadly

I would suggest at least getting to level 100, and not 40, because if you you stop at 40 you wont have access to the 12th island (decennial island), and the vault, both of which help alot once you accumulate a few hundred monsters and have no space in your habitats left.

Uh, I think for ancestors, Watson is a must have, but for mythics, I'm not too familiar. One mythic that I suggest getting (atleast for beginners) is King Atum because of his Megataunt as a trait. He can be easily obtained for logging in for atlesst 24 days this month and claiming the free blossom era monster lamp, in which you can choose him.

Its not that dmg boost gets disabled, but the random crit chance granted by rank 5 makes the hit ignore your own damage boosts. It's random though and crits bypass forcefield as well

In a 30-room Cave (4 vases, 1 cursed one), the probability of success isn't an opinion, it's pure statistics: The "Perfect Path" (0 mistakes): The probability of reaching room 30 without touching a single cursed vase is 0.017%. That's 1 in 5,600 attempts. If you play once a day, it would take you 15 years to achieve this just once through pure luck. What happens if I insist?: Even allowing yourself to fail 3 times (paying gems), the probability of success is still only 3.6%. This means that 96.4% of players will encounter the wizard 4 TIMES OR MORE before finishing. The Cost of "Progress": If you fail 4 or 5 times (which happens to 96% of people), the gem cost escalates rapidly (5, 10, 40...). Completing a single cave can easily cost you between 150 and 300 gems. CONCLUSION: To have 10 R5 Ancestors in 10 months (as some moderators claim), you would need an amount of gems that would take a F2P player years to accumulate, or luck that defies the laws of physics. Don't try to sell us on the idea that this is "strategy." It's a system designed so that 99.98% of the time you have to pay to win. If that was true and it was a TRUE 25% chance per floor as u claim @pastel girder first of all the first two floors have a flat out 0% chance of trapping anyone , second of all I have compiled a total of 50 cave runs at one point (I know it's not a lot) and observed that about 10-15% went beyond 14 without a trap and out of those runs 80% didn't get another trap for 14~ more floors

To be honest, it's one of the most fair parts of the game, you can get a rank 5 ancestor with 800 gems being lucky one day. Yes, the game is not great now. Yes, the game needs another way to get meta monsters that doesn't require hundreds of gems. But you're complaining about the only part of the game that keeps like 80% of the community here.
