Top 5 keeps changing and like depends on what category you wish to get. For wars you need stuff for every restriction.
For multiplayer it is watson hounen and nebotus everywhere ( but can change depending on how good next ancestor is at countering watson)

Currently i would recommend to hold off in investing any ancestor except hounen dame and watson because you never know how necessary next ancestor is. Like Florian canine doesn't actually contribute against forcefield much but if we get something like forcefield removal or disable or something they might be meta again in top multiplayer totally depends on how meta shapes on new Ancestor
