Yeah you can even get them at max rank, you get 500 or so gems per month free if you do all the daily tasks, dungeons, era saga and challenges. One ancestor at max takes like 10 000 tickets, 10 000 tickets you get from around 1000 gems

So every two months you get a free max rank even the newest one

You get 3 or 4 per month if you play the bounty hunt event as well in addition to the abov
But they just ruined this event with an update so idk
