attacker's job is to deal damage.
tank's job is to take damage for the team
support's job is to buff allies and debuff opponents
denier's job is to stop opponents from attacking

Gorruptor is a denier and can MegaCorrupt and apply Fear to deny

These are my quick ways to assess recency (and therefore likelihood of beefier stats):

1. The monsterdex number. Most recent is around 1300. The closer to 1300 it is, the more recent it us.
2. The rank up fuels are tied to specific eras: if it needs only primordium, then it's a current era.
3. the era ICON

I agree with Horyan that newer era doesn't necc mean better. It's a rough guide for "Ok which egg do i put now; i dont have an hour to investigate"
