Alright, so this is a bit complicated to put in the title. I have:

A sheet of monsters. Each of them has between zero and three currencies that can be used to rank them up, and these are all listed so they can be fetched with vlookups. Each of them also has a current level.

A list of books of monsters, each containing between one and eight monsters (mostly 4-8).

A line of cells saying how much of each currency I have that can also be fetched with a vlookup.

What I'm trying to do is get the sheet to automate telling me which monsters I can get to a certain level using currencies. Currently, I have a basic filter, telling me which monsters I can get to what level if I focus all my resources into that one monster. But when multiple monsters in one book use the same resource, that starts to fall apart. I'd also like to be able to display how much of each resource that would use.

At this point, I've honestly given up with doing it with more than one resource - every monster has one (or none, but they're irrelevant to the question) resource that's the main one, and everything else is auxiliary, so I can filter down to one easily enough. But I still can't figure out how to get that one resource and keep them all clear of each other. I'm also trying to do all the calculations in one line per book, because the current sheet I have set up is one line per book for the books sheet.

Anyone have any advice?
