Both are good, Bandelero is a decent attacker and is great for a book page for level 9-10 runes, (including sygrid in that page), and Fleim is a good megataunt tank with good attack as well

I’m not sure if it qualifies as ‘Teaching’ you anything, but every monster has guidelines as to what it’s supposed to do, for instance the roles Attacker, Tank and Curser.
An attacker, as its name would suggest, needs attack because their role is to deal as much damage as possible.
A tank is a monster meant to defend both itself and your other monsters. Usually, they need as much hp as possible, but sometimes they need speed too. Whether they do or don’t need it depends on their SC and skills in general.
Finally, Curser. A Curser is somewhat of a debuffer, often applying DoTs (damage over time) to the enemy or denying them outright. To make a denier most efficient, you usually need speed more than anything, but should the denier be an extra turn spammer, you should consider using a stamina rune so they can keep going for longer
