you can rank up 1 multiple times but that's difficult cell wise. If it's rares or uncommons i reccoment ranking 1 up, feeding them and extracting, that way you recycle the same monster a few times and you don't need a bunch of habitats
although that does take a few gems if you wanna be efficient

I'd wait considering at lvl 35, 2 mythics isn't enough. If you are able to do gold fever it'd be barely and more levels would only make it impossible. Wait until u get more from bounty I'd say
