ngl the best way to go about it is probably to look for any opportunity to get a single mythic, like flip challenges, the difference in power between mythics and legendaries is insane and it'll let your progress skyrocket

if you aren't having any luck with timed events you could try and go for knightingale, its quite a long breeding tree and is only an original era but can take you a long way

the hardest part is probably getting tartarus because of how low the chance is
