2. The current Ancesteral stats are only slightly above the stats of alpine monsters, even a 10% increase in stats between generations would make the next mythic generation surpass the current Ancesterals and a weaker rarity monster has never had higher stats before then one of a higher rarity.

3. They tuned back abilities for the last few generations to ensure that these monsters wouldn't be viable past the end of their generation.

3. The mistakes they made by creating unbalanced monsters ruined the meta, they know that now so they're making far more balanced monsters which would have been good.. if they didn't ruin the meta previously

they're trying to make all other generations obsolete because all other generations are far too overpowered
