That’s a very difficult question to answer because it depends on what other monsters you have. Right now King Atum is a good choice and he will be there for 11 more hours. He will be 171 gems to buy in one purchase, or if you just buy 40 cells at a time and wait for him to come through 3 times he will be 155 gems.

Other good choices are Serpentex, K911, Lumoona, and Kenecro.

You will miss easy gems since mini events such as gold fever or growth spurt, the milestones get larger the higher lvl you are. Your mp and lvl ratio will also be affected. Some even have 1k mp while they are lvl 70 just not a good look

It’s probably best to wait. You really need to save your gems until you can have both breeding trees and all 4 hatcheries. Plus, it takes a large amount of gold to buy and build each legendary or mythic habitat. Early into the game you need every bit of gold you can get just to grow food and be able to build and upgrade the regular habitats
