i personally prefer to be able to spam 0 cd 0 stamina massive earth damage ability

Completing the era books and then ranking the monsters on complete pages is the best source of higher level runes. Also helps to constantly be crafting runes up. As far as relics, watching the MW ads each time they are available and doing the equipment challenges to collect as many as possible really helps. If you continually collect the silver and gold relics, then you use them to craft diamonds and obsidians
