Oh in that case I would say,

• ~~Keep buying the wooden chest every 4 hours from the chest shop because it can give you Gold (upto 2M sometime) ~~ *Doesn't anymore
• Build as many nature habitats as you can.
• Breed pandakens using Treezard and Firesaur as parents.
• Fill the nature habitats with pandakens.
• Upgrade habitats.
• Once you have some money build elemental boosts.
• Equip some of the pandakens with gold runes if you have some gold to spare.
• Keep doing dungeons daily.
• Once you have enough Gold to build a mythic habitat, build a habitat and then hatch a mythic monster.
• Slowly replace the nature habitats with mythic/legendary ones.

It's slow process but in my opinion the only efficient process.

Okay I checked what monsters you can get from the breeding event and almost all of them are outdated and outclassed. I'd personally try to breed Clach for he's a good tank but it's super hard to rank up monsters now so... It won't be much of a use anyway. Also you can activate breeding guardian to lower the breeding time, if you have her unlocked already.

I would say save the gems for future events. It would be better to use them during bounty hunt if you have a decent team to kill/fight the fugitive.

Also tales event which is going to start on next Friday. I don't know if the monster is good or not though.

I don't think there is any pattern for that. But there are (unofficial) servers where you can get leaks about which monsters are going to be obtainable in the upcoming events and stuff like that. But obviously the leaks are not 100% confirmed.
