After rank 1 you get something called break outs its basically a way to rank your monster gradually instead of needing to get the X amount of cells required before ranking them.

If you can only get them to 100 them I'd choose klawax imo for heavy hits, if you can get voltaik ranked up a lot then that'd be better especially with stamina relics, if you get them r3 then they gain self evasion so that's a plus as well
