Thunder Eagle breeding doesn't work well now due to shorter times, do epics using thunder + nature or similar combo
Set both breeds off simultaneously
After 4h skip 1, restart it
4h later claim the other restart it
4h after that claim 1 restart it and so forth

It doesn't mater how many monsters you feed, you can normally get 30 by feeding a couple levels, waiting then feed 1 time

Mythic is right. Get a few good mons to start grinding the map for food. Once I got mythic I skipped legendaries. Use them every once in a while if I have one that helps in team wars on the low end.

Don't rush the game, try getting to Level 36 and you'll unlock conjuring(or at least unlock the Monster Lab). Conjuring is basically the generic way to farm Legendary monsters and some Mythics
