Marines go through more/intense training. Marines are said to be better then all branches in the US (the best) in our country. And due to that we have to uphold which is why are training sucks more. Boot camps just a game once you go into the real training you basically are more efficient with killing people, but I only do that to protect those I love. I take no pleasure in taking one’s life

Keep in mind though there are still far more lethal forces in our country such as SEALS, RECON, MARSOC, special forces and Delta force

Well to put it simple, even though it will be long. Boot camp is split among 4 phases. The first phase is the toughest. They break you, mentally and physically. I’ll start from the top. Day 1 when you get to Paris island. They shave your head (idk if your female or not) if you are never mind that. And you stay up the better part of that night and day. You get all your gear and have to carry it a mile or so up the road to your squad bay. Paris islands climate and weather is terrible. Humidity and heat during summer with sand fleas everywhere and freezing cold at winter. Falls not bad. Rains all the time. They call the screaming method the shark attack, that’s when you basically get screamed at 24/7 but honestly it never ends. Food, for about 4 days you get all your gear, get checked in and ready to begin training. During that time you only get box chow. Basically a ham sandwich processed of course. Chips, a boiled egg, raisins, and Mayo and ketchup. It’s actually not bad but trust me once you eat it 3 times a day and only get 2 minutes to eat each meal it sucks. After those 4 days you get introduced to your 4 drill instructors. Not a fun time. For the next 3 to 4 weeks you go through phase 1 (breaking you) classes wal constantly having to scream your heart out. Your name is taken from you, you get no calls home, no letters, no way to speak to loved ones. 8 hours of sleep exactly, 1 hour deducted if your in fire watch. Normally from those points you go to the chow hall (not bad but they mess with you there to plenty and you still only get 5 to 2 mins to eat. You can only call them sir. And until you graduate aka pass the crucible you are a recruit. Your no longer a person. That’s phase 1 basically. I’m paraphrasing by a long shot and leaving stuff out. Phase 2 is a bit funner, same thing accept now you have martial arts training, gas chamber 😷, confidence course, sparring, drilling, and the high tower, stuff like that. Certainly more physical. And swim week as well.

Bwt was a week in the field sleeping on rocks and crawling through mud, running all over the place with packs on and rifles in hand tactically, having to pass all sorts of tests then the crucible which I cannot talk about. But if you make it past that and walk through the sign after the 9 mile hike your officially a marine and get your name back. 4th phase, marine week. Honestly funnest week of my life.
