Yes. The legendaries were all pretty balanced. With every new generation of Mythics, they become a lot more powerful. It is a lot easier to get older mythics without paying than newer ones

So let me get this straight. You can't use legendaries anymore and mythics are basically a requirement to get anywhere ingame. And you have to wait a full month to even get your first mythic monster? No wonder why this game lost its popularity. I'll probably forget this game before the time is up.
