Ok... wow. This might be the only time I disagree with a feedback this hard. I'm going to explain this in my own personal view:
So, what were the picks for the rank 5 monsters worth 3999 gems? Sensei Pandaken, Spekthra, Oliphanatic, Mouseron, and Kernel Pip. Let me tell you how these monsters don't cost ANY time and energy whatsoever, besides one.
Let's talk about that one exception: Kernel Pip. That thing was a mistake. Social Point clearly didn't know how to balance this new event at the time, and honestly, I understand. They nerfed the maze to become what it is now, and while it's really not as good as past mazes, I like the new ones for being easier to get the monster. Kernel Pip was like a chore, burning the midnight oil to get everything you needed and you might not even get it. People were furious, and they fixed that, and they now offers those that missed out a chance. It was impossible to get before, but obtainable now.
Let's talk about the f2p ones. Spekthra is the EASIEST maze monster to get. It was basically a gift from Social Point to apologise to everyone about the horrendous maze event before. Literally 4 collections per day, 60 videos and a dungeon and you can get it in the last hour. It's not hard, and you even have spare to move more. Oliphanatic is a frat event. It might cost time, but reality? Spend gems. Breeding Fraternity is when all the massive events have already subsided, and you can take a break. It isn't hard to get that monster, and if you're impatient, spend some gems, it's literally 9 hours with the Breeding Temple.
Now what pisses me off. The P2P monsters are TIME-CONSUMING AND ENERGY-CONSUMING? Oh yeah, sure buddy! It sure spend you a lot of time to spend $20 - $50 AND GET THE MONSTER FROM THE START! And you put in the same amount as the F2P to get that monster to R3! Don't pull that crap of time and energy spent, the only exception is Kernel Pip and ONLY that thing. The rest are basically 20 minutes of your time.

One more thing: "It's like people's time being wasted that now everyone could just go and buy that monster" THAT'S LITERALLY SENSEI PANDAKEN AND MOUSERON. F2P people's time are wasted as they grind for the free monster, while the rest buys GLP and exclusive pass and get the monster as easy as that. Also, I guess the same thing could be said for the christmas event, or black friday event, or easter event last year then right? Because oh! Lindworm and Lord Platypus and Shelly are sold for only 3999 gems, what a waste of everyone's time right?! Screw off with that argument, all the people that saved up gems for years as F2P are being ecstatic right now and you're here complaining about how all the people who paid the game are now rewarded with nothing. Because guess what? After time, all should get an opportunity at something restricted from them before. VIPs, Forsakens, GLPs, etc. F2Ps spent twice as much work put in than P2Ps, so let the people that grinded have a chance at competing with the rest.

I was just trying to think of a number that seemed like it would be the average amount of damage people do. I didn't want to go to 1 million because that's a bit unrealistic but 750k seemed like a good estimate

@cursive pelican I like your idea a lot it makes sense to improve the FLP but there is something you left out. Maybe the FLP could give people 5 maze collector tickets to make mazes a bit easier to handle for F2P people.

Mazes are a bit of a daunting task so giving the FLP even a small amount of tickets would be nice
