The issue I find is that almost all Ancestors have a unique awakening design, you could make the argument for Baba and Khal having the same build. The issue is that Shibu's awakening looks so similarly to Khal's unawakened form its just sad, specially when we have mons like Gen, Evaris, and even JJ who have unique designs

@livid cave 10/10 suggestion mate, goob job. Synergy buff should incentivize creative stuff. Let's take an example, Slumster + Evaris. It's a great synergy if Slumster's stats weren't so bad, and frankly, that's what I would like to see. More options to synergize, they're still restricted by faction so it's not the best three monsters everywhere, but with synergy such that it promotes a diverse teamset.

I think the idea of synergies is good, it just needs tinkering so it's more important, and gives older mythics a chance to shine. If they're willing to let up to abyssal shine again, why not pregalactic? Would EASILY fix the "mythic skills too stupid" issue

There's also the ancestor stat balance that would be really good to happen with it so teams with brute force like Tyr and griffania have hope instead of being murked by a cda from primerion or smthn

Training skills on monsters isnt a bad idea imo, although the skills would probably have to be toned down first for the sake of balancing and then allow you to train them and eventually make them better than pre change

Something similar is/was back when i played dragon city and you could train dragons for better skills(Ik its not related to ml but its an example)

People buy gems to spend on cave runs and stuff, so prioritising that as a way to get people spending makes sense. You can't spend directly on pvp and people will do map as and when they want, but it has virtually no replayability so once you've got max stars it's done with until you have more islands

@livid cave I too don't understand how they expect us to run up against level 150 ancestors in challenge mode unless they lower that for the saurians. the 90% of players who don't wanna spend insane money on a single mythic are locked in with Anky and the saurians ancestor, which is probably going to be a tank too. The only real way to fix this other than lowering the difficulty would be like a battle pass Saurian attacker or something.

I dunno how they're doing in the art department. What confuses me most is that it's the ancestor that keeps getting hit with the reskin. I'd have assumed it would be the synergy team that'd get hit more

Probably having presentus as an extra monster this season didn't help, along with the ancestor being a duo monster with two distinct sprites.

I just hope it doesn't keep happening, in my opinion it detracts a lot from the originality of ancestors, which sucks in this era because it has some of the best mythic designs in a good while.
