I have won far too many matches in grands just by countering that annoying all-speed raris team people keep using. Genuinely, just picking someone faster than raris like Golemnoid, Brainlien, or Monk Flamorg and loading them up with speed + team speed runes to outspeed any raris team

You lose to MT and TDA but the sheer amount of people who rely on raris is insane so it actually kinda works

Exactly. Raris is broken in live duels, so ofc anyone who has the option to play him is going to. Which means going with a monster that directly counters him is surprisingly viable

Well, most raris teams pour all their runes into speed & team speed, so basically any denier that can outspeed him. He's only like, 10th fastest of all doomed monsters, so there's a few to choose from.

You would have to find someone who could consistently stun/freeze him and deal with the rest of the team which a lot of the time is solid. Stamina removal can be annoying to Raris but Raris has no stamina CDA skill and Raris is immune to possession.

In regard to stamina removal with someone like Monk Flamorg, of course he has no memory which is annoying. But you can plan around that, give your team decent 0cd skills, and have Monk constantly keep the enemy at 0 stamina. Now they have to either constantly recharge, or rely on whatever 0s skills they happen to have. Meanwhile you're only mostly limited by cooldowns (raris can't aoe cda with no stamina so he has to one at a time).

But that's getting into really specific stuff (though not too unlikely since you basically just need to get monk). The point of my original message was to say that, with how many people use Raris, I've found a surprising amount of success building whatever team I can to beat him specifically. That was all
