The reason the dude multiplies the chances is because of conesquentiality.

Say there's a 1 of 100 neghborhoods get picked for a lottery, and that 1 of it's exact 100 residents gets to win the prize. That would mean that 1 of 10000 residents were entered in the poll to win the prize because 100(the number of neighborhoods)×100 (the number of residents) = 10000.

Also, the chances of winning the lottery you assumed yourself are far too high. 1% ? The real odds would be more about 1:7.000.000 at minimum.
50% chance of getting 10 Gems at MWood is also an erroneous claim, 10% is the actual value.

So from the more realistic values, there's a 1 in 70 million chance that a person who wins the lottery and has played monster legends would've just so happened to roll 10 gems at monsterwood at least once in their life.

Now if we divide this by the number of Monster Legends Total Downloads you should see just how unlikely your claim is. I'll make a wild choice and say the probability of such people existing is in the units, maybe less because of redownloads.
