I think the worst I've heard was 26 attempst before ... you'd be better off just spending 350 gems for key. My worst has been 12-13 attempts.

They release good F2P monsters ... but they lock OP talents under paid. So even if you have meta F2P monsters, if you lacking some of the strong paid talents it cna be rough.

F2P can still get L1 though, and war rewards are blah so in the end you can enjoy being F2P. The bigger annoyance for me personally on F2P is lack of hatchery space and 30% hatching speed reduction.
