72h is now really ruined. Almost impossible to get to the last card of Bella. I spent almost 2B growing all lotusses for 2 days. Every time with a cheap food in between to get all coins. And now Bella is at the last card and I cant get her. Really hate this change after saving up gold for over a month

Miss the old 72 hr challenge. It was nice to be able to flip through 2 maybe 3 times depending how much gold you saved.

Can I just say that the changes to the 72hr challenge ruined my chances of obtaining the monsters. I am usually able to obtain the top monster by working REALLY hard for it. I was unable to get any monster.

I understand stopping low levels doing 3 rounds with coins left over but at higher levels, it's now made it pretty impossible, unless very lucky, to find the monster. I never used to easily win the monster, it took commitment to be on the game very frequently for 3 days.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

I honestly think that the changes to the 72HC were a huge step backward. I agree that low level players being able to easily complete 3 rounds was a bit ridiculous when compared to the high level players that struggle to get even 1 legendary, but it's now pretty much impossible to even complete a round, even as low as the 70s. It might as well just be a 1 round event. With the current system in place, preparation and careful use of resources is no longer encouraged. A player can flip 1 card and get the monster, but a player that spent a month saving might not get so lucky.

Unattainable rewards in events also remove the incentive for players to even participate. Less participation = a lower player base and will ultimately hurt the game's health. I don't want to be showered in rewards, but growing the most expensive crop for 3 days with a guardian active should be worth something

I definitely would prefer consistent amounts as well. I'm all about planning and this time around it was pretty difficult. Luckily, I'm a low enough level (79 currently) for that to not have mattered, but I definitely appreciate how important planning is.

I can say there were some changes....
some of my teammates got Bella after some cards....

BUT the main problem is still there.
I have 3 accounts where I can compare. Son 1, (level 74), Son 2 (Level 99) and my (Level 144)

Son 1 invested 400Mio Gold in 5Mio farming and 75% farming boost —> he had after that 27,000 Coins and got Bella with the second last card and the E Monster.

Son 2 invested 1 Billion Gold in 5Mio farming and 100% farming boost —> he had after that 13,000 Coins and got Bella with big luck with the Coins he had.

I invested 2 Billion Gold in 5Mio farming and 100% farming boost —> I had 9,000Coins and got nothing because I was able to come until 6. last card of Bella than my coins was empty.

we all got 3,000Coins be 3 times watching Monsterwood
I am much more active than my son‘s because I was only able to play for them in their device early in the morning and in the evening after work. I was able to play every 1-2h between 6SM and 11PM every day.

so thanks for the chance to get a monster now earlier by luck. But the Coins possible to get by doing the things you should do is further totally broken.

My thoughts have already been stated above by others but in summary I spent about 2 billion gold, had the farming temple at 100% for two days. I also used gold collection and breeding. Previously the farming was predictable and I could work out what I needed to get a monster (or two if I was lucky) . Foolishly I thought the event would be fairer and I wouldn't need to plan and spend my coins at the end to ensure a monster. I went for Bella and had two cards left. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I started with about 380 coins per 14 black lotus, which was a bit more than half of what I used to get at level 105-109, then it progressively went down until it was 20 coins, I'm now level 111!! I got more coins getting gold each time! I really don't understand the scaling.

Marianne, the word "tweaking" doesn't do it justice. I'm not saying it has to be rebuilt from the ground up, the last system was sweet but the amount of resources it took to get get very little coinage was insane. IMO, bring back the old system and "tweak" that instead, so that players aren't struggling as much at higher levels to compete against a sky rocketing requirement, but also make it so that lower-level accounts get the same coinage we do by adjusting the minimum requirements for them too.

However, I believe it should still be possible to get the monsters early on rather than only at the last minute.

Only one more information to my post from yesterday.....
Son 1 hat 1,3Billion Gold. and I played with his device extremely less. I finished after getting Bella and E. Would I use the complete amount of gold I am sure I would be able to pass the event 2-3times.
I knew his reward was Bella with 1 Star but after 2-3times of the event he would be able to level Bella to 2 stars my possible reward of this monster.

so my result at the moment
son 1 Level 74 could get 2 star bella 2 E and 2 Flaky ( at the end 2 star) monster easily
son 2 Level 99 gets 1 star monster only with luck
Myself Level 144 gets 2 star monster only with luck

It doesn‘t matter that I have to do more with higher level. I have more Gold and can produce at the end more food.
It is the extremely different chance and result which shows the total broken balance of this event for different Player Levels.

That's probably true, but the way the new system works is that, with careful planning, I could put as much time and resources into the event as a higher level player but come away with lower reward. That doesn't mean the reward needs to reduced for higher players, just highlighting one aspect from a mid level player (I think I'm mid now, lol). The original method was much fairer, but the amount required weren't balanced. It should be easy to work out the average resources available for each level of player and adjust accordingly. If the problem was players doing 2 or 3 rounds then there could be an adjustment for coin collection rate or cost for subsequent rounds.

The question is easy. As you can see when you read my comment....
Level 74 can get 2 Rank 1 Monster with round about 800Mio Gold producing food. With this 2 1star monster it is possible to make an 2 star Monster.

At Level 100 you have the chance to get 1 star monster nothing more by using much more food.

At Level 144 you can transfer 3Billion Gold in farming and you have only the chance to get 2 star bella baal with luck.

My opinion. When a player is active in the same way than an other player this player should have the same chance to get the „last L Monster“ It doesn‘t matter which level the player have. „active in the same way“ means not 400Mio Gold from everyone but active and investing that level possibilities of the players.
There should be statistics how much Gold in the middle is a Level 144player able to collect in 24h, how much farming is he possible. and the same for all Levels. possible you have to build ranges. And every player who is doing more than this average should have the chance to get the last L monster. player with less activities should be able to get L without start (1. L Monster) and more less activities only the E. When a player is doing much more this player should be able to get 2 or all 3 monsters. (for this or a second or third lap it is also needed to invest GEMs and/or money)

The biggest problem SP is trying to solve, seems to be that players are able to do multiple rounds of the event, by keeping their level relatively low (mostly by avoiding the adventure map). If that is the biggest problem, why not adjust the amount of coins for each task, after a complete round, or after each monster obtained

The adjustment can be pretty high then, but it is still possible to get your favourite monster with some dedication.

I did get Bella , hatched, fed up, extracted and now she is ranked up to lvl 3. Thanks SP! BUT I spent over4. Billions in gold for 5 million crops with boost on. After 1st 24hrs was only getting an average of20 maze coins per harvest. Ok I needed to food anyways. I collected 180 million in gold per day. My biggest maze coin maker, breeding BUT I had to spend lots of gems to keep hatchery open. I am at lvl 143 so unless I am willing to spend gems, to speed up hatches. I have little chance

Developers have you considered giving say maze coins for generating runes? Or upgrading relics?
