Monster Legends Competitive Wiki is good for tier lists against monsters of their respective era. For how "old" an era is, just go to monstagram and filter. Left is more recent. Right is more ancient. Doomsday, then Metro, then Corrupted etc.

I was reading through the ML wiki and got to the cosmic era and yall really had no chill with thunderkong

Like damn here's the description of it "Behold, the Lagerchaun of all cosmics! Thunderkong, he was available in Quest and, like his past self, is garbage. He has decent power for an attacker but his other stats are just horrible. His stamina costs are ludicrous and his damage output is awful, beat by most Cosmics who aren't even attackers. Not even his extra turns can save his damage output as they deal so little damage. If it wasn't enough, his best self-support skill shocks himself which is really absurd, especially when he's an extra-turner. His trait is next to useless and his only saving grace are his relic slots, which don't even help him deal damage. Overall, Thunderkong is easily the single-worst Cosmic to ever exist in Monster Legends. You're better off using any other Mythic over this sorry excuse of an attacker."

you’ve got stuff for a team similar to mine, use Alagata. I would do Algata with 2speed one team speed. Make sure Algata is quicker than Votaik. Use Voltaik and change dark assault to resentment fog. Change Voltaiks runes to all damage and try to mutate them with stamina. Use Pango as a tank with 2 health one team speed, but try to get a taunt guy

so Dark Voltaik + Algata + Pango

Voltaik: 3Damage
Algata: 2Speed 1 Team speed (or 3 speed, they have to be faster than Voltaik.)
Pango: 2health 1team speed or 3health

it’s basically my team w/ a different tank and it holds up very well in L1

Not many run rez block monsters on their defense, sometimes u will run up against a random X-mess base

i just grinded from L3 to L1 with essentially with same team i recommended (Mejodrak instead of pango) and the only counters i came across were phase shield like you said, as well as high life anticipation (stupid seaweed guy with 3life runes). I ran into phase shield maybe 12 times in 150so battles so i think it’s rare enough to not be much of an issue. And considering this guy is in bronze 3 i dont really think that there’ll be much phase shield

also without Voltaik being able to rip through a team quickly an anticipation monster could easily counter the team if voltaik doesn’t deal enough damage in time, hence having Algata boost Voltaik to kill everything
