she removes evasion from them (but area dodge doesn't count) and total blinds them so all attacks miss

but like. diabolus will actually deny them while stacking tortures so they all die

and jj only needs to be given one turn for most of the game so diabolus just denying them once is enough

on top of that diabolus does 2 area attacks so area dodge would be gone for jj to attack

you'd want both for war and era sagas regardless. but invest more in diabolus. rank4 is especially nice when the enemy has anticipation

people mostly use him for his res block at r3. and he happens to have good moves on top.

awakened evaris is OP and resses his team which is great for team wars, but you want him r5 to awaken quicker.

primerion is a support that can't attack himself, hes good but should try to get him after you have a team thought out. like if you have jj with the elektra patrol sword you can awaken him in the first turn with primerion.

enkidu trait disables the team, you need him to go first since it only lasts 1 turn. so he kind of also needs r5 and good runes
