Next time what I would do is collect as much as your schedule allows before the LTP starts, and then when the numbers for the LTP are released as the LTP starts, do some calculations to figure out if and how many more collections you need to complete the LTP with/without 10% discounts.

That’s what I normally do, and my calculations did not fail me. I need 2 more collections to get Anton, I am one node away

Dont spend mega coins on the LTP until you are 100% POSITIVE you will get the reward. Otherwise it’s just not worth the waste.

PS the info for the node costs and rewards are usually on the wiki page, just Google the name of the race and it should come up
