The only 4hr breed in game is Turtle, but that's 1% chance
For the full 50 coins, you need a 3hr+ breed. So metal rares are a possibility, but you have to deal with uc results so not reliable.
Staggered 6hr epics are best (2 trees), or if you have ads, speed up by 2hrs each time.

As a Progressive in a Maze the coins won’t drop constantly.
Monsters and rewards are placed in Maze like order. Some monsters are ready to move, some are locked so you have to find the suitable key(s) first to unlock them and not like progressive, you can choose to some extent how to spend your coins and what monsters to get.
Actions that give maze coins are collecting gold & food, feeding, breeding or hatching and pvp battles.
Maze Discount
During the event there are times when moving a monster costs less by - 10% - 20% - 30%.
Tips and Tricks
• The items drop is chance based this mean 2 things
1- All players are equal in those types of events, however you can use money to buy maze coins.
2- The items drop DOESN'T depend on the amount of gold collected or amount of food that is fed.
• For gold items keep collecting every time you log into your game or when the gold icon appears on a habitat.
• For food collect the amount of coins is NOT related to what you grow.
• For feeding to maximize the use of your food especially if you have nothing to feed then breed/buy a Common monster - Firesaur for example 15 sec hatch - and feed it to level 10. If you already have something to feed, then it is perfect as no food is wasted.
• For Breeding and hatch best combo to use is 2 Thunder Commons -Thunder Eagle or -Thunder Eagle and Thunder Legendary.
• For PvP do it and win, to get easier fights on revenge you can lower your defense team.
• If you got less coins than you thought you should get, then restart the game and repeat the action, for breed you can also use a 15 sec or 30 sec breed to try and get the coins.
3- Maze islands are quit tough so you need to be very sure about how to spend your coins. You don't want to start moving a monster then get stuck mid way so if you are sure about your earning coin capability then go ahead under discount times. If you are not sure then wait till the last few discounts to see what monster you can move and get.
4- To get extra maze coins you can use respins on Fortune Wheel for gems, but be careful as soon as you got the maze coins stop. Because every time you respin you forfeit the prize, an exception is the share after pvp but you then can only spin it twice; after fight and after share.
5- Like progressive its possible to do multiple rounds, have fun 😉

There are 2 reasons why just taking away x% of the total price doesn't give you the exact price under x% discount(it's still a good approximation though):
-Maze coins in the path. If you just take away 10% of the total price, you take away 10% of the value of the maze coins on the path, too. Though, even with discounts, maze coins on the path still have the same value. This effect usually reduces the cost by at most 1.5% in 30% discount, which means less than 1% in 20% and 0.5% in 10%.
-Rounding. Let's say a monster requires 2 moves to be completed, each costing 25 maze coins. In 10% discount, all prices are rounded up, meaning these moves will cost 23 maze coins each. Taking away 10% from the total price gives you a price of 45 maze coins, though the correct price is 46 maze coins. Note that this effect is a lot less visible than the first one and doesn't appear in 20% discount and nodes costing an amount of coins divisible with 10. This increases the cost by at most 0.3%.
Note: all my bounds were taken by measuring what they were in the Asian maze and increasing them a bit.

It always has so many issues. Button says it's closed because it can't load an ad, ads get stuck in the cache (?) and prevent it from loading, ads show a black screen and need to be closed, ads play to the end but then have no close button, ads play to the end but give no rewards after closing.

even though they are the same as discount
but, with that we still have 2712.5 coins, 3.5 less than actual. Why is that?
Because there are 7 nodes with the cost not divisible by 10.
For example, if a node costs 35 maze coins with no discount, it will cost 32 coins, not 31.5 coins in 10% discount because you can only have an integer number of maze coins.
So each node with number not divisible by 10 adds 0.5 to the actual price on 10% and 30% discount.
