Hi @outer sluice , I have no idea how this is happening.

Are you playing the game on two separate PCs?
Were the plots bought a long time ago in an older patch?

Older patch, and a transfer from my steamdeck.

I haven't played on my steamdeck since I swapped to my laptop. Also any clue why the item progress is so low.

@outer sluice so playing on steamdeck were you playing offline? The achievements are stored in a cross-save file which isn't cloud saved for steam. Instead when you open the game on a different pc it would sync the achievements from what steam knows about (and vice versa when you open it on the steamdeck).

In that case there isn't really much we can do our side other than hack around it. Assuming I'm right on setup, if you could load the game online with steamdeck it should push the achievements to steam and then when you load on laptop it should then grab them. Make a backup of your save just in case it tries to sync it but I don't think it should do that as that one should be older.

As for item progress I'd need specifics to look into, so if you can:

• check item count
• pickup item
• see item count doesn't change

Otherwise it sounds potentially like an old bug that got fixed or the limits of what it counts (apart from seeds it doesn't count ordered/bought items in the shops).

Tragically my steamdeck is out of commission. I'll look into the item count shortly. What menu would k find that in?

It's in the progress menu in the items section. Progress button is by default on the k key or probably the back button on controller.

You mean the achievement @outer sluice ? Like I said the only way for us would be to hack around it which I'm not planning to do.

Locally you can just open the file _Achievements.json in the saves directory and adjust the values to match this for the achievement (likely the bolded bits to change) and then it will have set it locally and it will upload to steam next time. If you don't feel comfortable editing upload the file here and I can do it.

No fix can be made for item progress unless we could find a cause for them not counting when they should and it can't apply retroactive to old saves.
