In my opinion an individual server for Merc Zone would sort of break things apart. Especially with comps and crossovers, it will be a tough job to navigate between the two servers constantly. And as Typhoon said, they would need more mods for the new server, and giving permission to people you don't know in real life is..... risky. It would also take away from the main server's activity measures. All this is just my opinion 🙂

I have also thought about that, as long as it is made official I already have a staff team with a lot of experience in large discord servers. So I'll set up the server with a staff team and if it's approved over time it will come naturally. As you indicated, it might be a problem to navigate between the 2 servers, but my goal is to be able to do that all in a separate server, which also ensures an overview.

And apart from the game, I have many things and helpful ideas (also involved with the game) to get the most out of it.

Yeah, it is actually a good idea though, this is a company server, that's the problem and answer. Like, if someone has to ask anything about shell, they would go to #🥚・shell-shockers and after asking, the shell community would just joke with them telling them to alt+f4 or bucks doing more damage, while the other person isn't joking at all. The person would then be disappointed with community, and it isn't fault of community either, they are just joking around. So mixing a community and official server isn't a good idea, but again, devs are here and easy to have everything at one place.

My unofficial stance on the matter is that I don't see enough merit in having an official BW merc zone server. I believe you have to communicate more clearly what you think the advantages of an official server are, and what you think BW would be doing to support and maintain the server. Otherwise, I think you should just start a community server and advocate for it yourself.
