No. Just fix the glitch. Dont disconnect after 15 seconds. Also im pretty sure you still can rejoin the same lobby, unless its full, in which case that's not an issue

that would be the fix for the glitch. Unintentional disconnects from the wifi going out for a few seconds for example can and will always happen, there's no way around that.
The same account can't be in the same lobby twice right now, and since you don't get kicked from the lobby after having a disconnect from something like a network interruption, your account will still be in that lobby until it's kicked for idle after multiple minutes, making you unable to rejoin.
This suggestion would not mean you get AFK kicked after 15 seconds, it just means you get disconnected after 15 seconds when no sign of life has been received, which can only be the case for either 15+ second internet lag spikes or an unintentional disconnect.

I would've reported this as a bug, but I wasn't sure if it is one or not

although I doubt that having disconnected players stay in game is intentional

But right now, the same account can't be in the same lobby twice and disconnects without the player being removed happen often enough

you can test it right now, just launch the game in two different tabs with both on your account and try to join the same lobby

I'll do a bug report for it, since I doubt it's intentional behavior
