Inventory/Codes Update

This update is a win-win scenario for everyone! I also have many ideas to go along with this update! For those of you who did not read the original suggestion, please make sure to up-vote this suggestion so the developers hear our request.

First of all, turning all items into codes allows people to gift items. Instead of buying a Valkyrie or Fusion item directly into your inventory, you would be given a code for that item, similarly to the Pablo Crackshot codes received when buying Bad Egg. This would actually increase Blue Wizard Digital's profits, and would also help streamers out! More people would buy items in order to gift them to friends, and streamers who are not code supported or official BWD content creators would be able to safely do giveaways to the community!

Nothing is perfect though, and many people have messaged me concerns about this:
"What about alt accounts / farming?"
"What about people accidentally burning codes?"
"This could take a lot of work for the developers."

I do have many ideas to combat such issues. First of all, I was mainly focusing on items that could be bought from the store with money, such as the Valkyrie and Fusion sets, as well as other Premium shop items. It is not possible to grind these with alt accounts, so if this update focused only on Premium items then it would be impossible to grind them.

As for accidentally burning codes, I believe there should be a way to gain multiple of the same item. This could lead to people buying more codes, helping BWD, and also adding an edge of prestige to someone with a certain amount of a specific weapon.

Not only that, there could also be an icon that pops up when redeeming the item. Instead of having the "check it out" message or other similar icons, there could be an in-between screen that has two options: "Redeem" and "Cancel"

With Redeem and Cancel buttons, this could prevent ading extra codes to someone's inventory they did not want, this could help people check if codes have already been used, and it would prevent people from accidentally redeeming codes they want to gift!

While this update would definitely increase a lot of work for the developers, I believe it is worth it in the long run. By changing references (the links to the purchases and accounts) to be linked to specific items and item codes, it would clean up the code a bit and also make it so that when items are refunded from bundles that are already owned, it will not accidentally remove any previously bought items from that bundle (because it would be possible to remove duplicated items). It would definitely take a lot of work to implement, but as seen by this suggestion it is very much wanted by the community and it would make shop purchases and gifting items much much easier in the long run!
