1. There are a lot of reports that come in each day, we simply cannot review all of them at once.
2. When an aimbotter gets caught, it not only boots them from game, but it bans them from shell shockers as a whole.

I think having more eggforcers sounds nice since more reports will get done, but not all of them will be reviewed.

This is pretty much similar to twitch streaming. Usually, during every day of the week, a streamer will stream. Usually, players that play with the streamer (along with the streamer themselves) are pretty good, and it's difficult to get a 5 kill streak. In these streams, you are able to 1v1 the streamer or other viewers (depends on the streamer, I know lifeofnurse is one). And also, how will you determine players by similar skill over? KDR*Kills?

what im saying is that you will have placement matches. so at first, you will play maybe like a 500 rated player. If you win, the system will know to place your next match with someone rated a little higher(ex.900). If you win the next one it will place u at 1200. If you win that, you will be placed at say 1600. If you win that your next placement will be say 2000. If you win that, it will be like 2400. However if you lose the 900 one, you will be places with approx. 700.

so it wont place you with 1400 players unless you can beat 1200 players

I can say that I use not so often crackshot, I use more the other weapons and I can still do many and really good streaks. Time between kills isn't a viable option with the way the game works, too many variables are present that would make any attempt at doing so inaccurate. Particularly skill differences and weapon choices, more so the latter though as there are weapons like grenades and rpegg that can multikill, along with people being able to get a multi kill relatively quickly with guns like the free ranger or p90, of which depends on skill of course

Even if you made a graph, the cheats used are slow at getting kills most of the time either way due to most map layouts having an massive amount of obstacles like buildings or other structures, which would make aimbot not viable for quick kills

As Harrison has stated before, some cheaters might only be using hacks for curiosity, and banning them for a longer amount of time might discourage them from coming back to Shell. Banning them for one hour first would be a viable option, since it teaches the hacker that hacking is highly discouraged. However, I do agree that during their second/third time hacking, they need to be permantely banned, as hacking multiple times shows that they haven't learned their lesson. This can be done by eggforcers being able to see how many reports each user has (I'm pretty sure that is not implemented). With all of this said, this is a great suggestion and should be implemented as soon as possible.

I would argue with @summer bane on this point though. In my opinion, cheating out of curiosity is just not it, it is not something that should be tolerated in the first place not matter the intention. I understand that is too harsh of an opinion. But I meant to say the initial punishment should be severe, at least 1 week for example, a relative long period of time for the offender to reflect himself/herself.

I understand that BWD cares about number of players they have because I assume cpm ads is the main source of revenue for BWD. But banning offenders for a short amount of time so as to not discourage them from coming back to Shell does is strategically very wrong in my humble opinion. There were far more other players who had their gameplays ruined by cheaters than the number of cheaters out of there. And these discouraged players, not matter newly joined/just trying out the game or the experienced players, don't come back because of others' cheating behavior not caught in time for the first/second time or ever.

It's BWD's take on who to save in terms of user retention, cheaters or players affected by cheaters. One of reasons that PUBG died down was because of its increasing number of cheaters and how its game company handled it. I understand shellshockers is in no where near PUBG in terms of everything, but I personally feel that it is kind of related in that regards (cheating and handling).

Another analogy I could think of would be a teenager taking highly addictive drug for the first time and harming their classmates physically and mentally (this example is entirely made up and only for analogy. I by no mean encourage it). We don't know how long he/she has been doing this. But should we keep him/her in the teens & adolescent residential treatment center for only one day and let him/her back to class/school the next hour/day? No. I think other classmates would agree with me. If school tolerates and regulates such behaviors like this, I believe its other students would gradually move to other schools with better regulation and control. It's more difficult in shellshockers because I think currently there is no feature implemented for eggforcers to periodically rehearsal/review offenders' behaviors after they come back.

It's really up to bwd to come out with an reliable manual ip ban strategy for repeated offenders, which may or may not already in place.

But in retrospect,
1 cheater ban = 1 pt ad revenue loss
7 other players in the same lobby discouraged by cheater and abandoned the game entirely and in the future = 7 pts ad revenue loss and even more

e.g. They can get more reports after they got back to the game after a ban, how do eggforcers decide those new reports are not false positive? Offenders have to be caught in the action of cheating to be banned again, am I correct?

Eggforcers can only ban the account and browsing session for 5, 15, or 60 minutes. Ignoring the fact that it is easily circumventable From what I see cheaters are always banned for 60 minutes. I don’t see what you can do for repeated offences, only the wizards are capable of more advanced banning.

Response to a suggestion:

People that spawn out in Shell Shockers do it for a reson, and there are multiple of those reasons. Sure, some ppl need to pause the game because they need to go to the bathroom or their parents call them for dinner, but other people pause the game because they are out of ammo, and they need more so they spawn out. This is a major reason why this suggestion should be declined. The RPG, which only has less than a handful amount of shots, is a gun that people can easily despawn to get more ammo. So, instead of RPGers trying to get ammo in a big battlefield and they only have a pistol/melee to defend themselves (unless they are incredibly skilled at pistol/melee, they will most likely die), they can just hide behind a block, despawn, and get free ammo without anything happening. This would be an exploit for bigger maps or maps with less people. Right now, the risk of losing shield/eggbreaker is a major reason why people don't intentionally despawn to get ammo.

It's kinda different. When you play more, you can tell.
Aimbotters flick instantly and point their aim to the next closest enemy player, tracking/locking on them through wall/ceiling/floor. It's very unnatural. Cracking up your mouse speed instantly wouldn't achieve the same "locking-on" feeling.
It's a dead giveaway of cheating with aimbot.

@karmic matrix This suggestion is pretty much the same as saying that all rich people should be police officers (and there are lots of flaws about that). Also, there are so many holes suggestions to this, but I'll be nice and just use 3 bullet points.

1. Aimbotters may have qualifying stats. Usually, when an aimbotter is discovered that they have aimbot, everyone in the chat absolutely flames them and the aimbotter starts making up facts that are way too sensitive. With a power like that, they could exploit this.

2. Stats don't determine everything. There might be a 9 year old who sweats Shell Shockers every day and meets the requirements, however do you trust giving an Eggforcer to that kid?

3. There are not that many eggforcers for a reason. To be an eggforcer, you need a lot of trust and confidence, and some good players won't have this trait. You can't assume that this will apply for ever player.
