A large portion of the community or atleast the majority of the competitive side of this game uses adblockers for KOTC. If ads weren’t a thing for the mode, the community wouldn’t find much need to use adblockers because ads in pubs and other stuff aren’t such big issues (they might be useful for events though). Removing ads from KOTC elevates the purpose of the mode and potential of the players. Time is of value in KOTC and it’s super annoying to sit there watching a 30 second ad in some crucial moments where you should be helping your team get eliminations and/or securing the coop (we have all been there).

in response to this im unsure why they dont just have both versions available to the public? maybe its because of the fact that the maps much like the chat filter and items are hard coded into the game rather than dynamically. so they only happen once per "larger" update as it requires a full game reload.
still unsure as to why they have them as hard coded variables and files. would make issues like this significantly quicker and easier to resolve. but once again, im just a random what would i know

either way afaik bwd doesnt even read #💡・suggestions anymore or at least rarely to never responds to them. i did read Harrisons response nearly 11 months ago, but once again havent seen any acknowledgement of any suggestion recently.
