please bring back the previous welcome method. This one isn't working too well because many players are getting stuck in welcome-lobby and not reading the rules. As you have seen, many people have been chatting and such in competition, this didn't really happen before. Maybe add new reaction roles that are more up to date. I understand that you want people to do quests, but to be honest, not many people have decided to pursue those quests comparatively to before. Maybe you could do a prize for finishing all the quests instead of taking away reaction roles. This would most definitely create an uptake in quest submissions and attempts. The prize doesn't need to be good, it could literally be like a choice of newsletter code or maybe a 10k golden egg code. Thank you for reading

this is going to be very controversial, but my suggestion is adding targeted matchmaking to shell shockers. This means that if new, inexperienced players start playing the game, they won't get destroyed by an SL sweat and rage quit the game after one day. This will also mean that normal pubs will be slightly more competitive for higher level players. This of course raises the issue of what you base a player's skill level on, but there are multiple solutions such as looking at the stats.

for shell, add more customization options for custom lobbies. for example, the ability to turn certain weapons on/off (so pistol/crackshot/whatever only lobbies can truly exist, or p90 free lobbies 🙂 ), turning respawning off/toggling it (so when you die you're forced into spectator mode until the host of the lobby turns respawning back on), and lastly, locking lobbies to the players that join first, so nobody new can join after the server is locked (which would help immensely for fashion shows/elimination based competitions). i think these would best work placed as a new tab under the "spectate" option for the host of private lobbies titled "match settings", so they can be changed at any point while the map is open. this would greatly expand the possibilities for custom gamemodes without adding any other new "mode" to the game, and would greatly increase the confidence of streamers trying things like fashion shows, simon says, battle royale gamemodes, etc. tl;dr - make custom games more customizable 🙂

Remove chat feature from Shell. I'm getting more and more mad from toxic 9 year olds who get quickscoped and start to shout stupid things at people... The chat is literally one of the most toxic places in Shell. 1) E-daters who reveal personal information... it's stupid come on 2) Racial discrimination... I've seen multiple times over the pass few days where people have been shouting rude things at others such as kill blacks or some other shit that they shouldn't be saying 3) Toxic 9 year olds... 🤡 They're people who target you, be annoying to you, are no help in any way to the game and overall they make the community worse and worse. They are mostly the people who team in FFA, which is even more annoying, because it's supposed to be every person for themselves 🙄 When you ask them, "Can you stop being toxic?" They stubbornly and idiotically ignore the question and start rambling on about how bad you are and how amazing they are because they're in "FaZe" or "PLG" or if they're "Hazzmat" no I didn't spell that wrong... Overall, I just think the chat is a useless feature to the game that can be removed ;/

Nerf- Nerf the Rpegg's damage it does too much damage to the shields which isn't fair and is ruining the game for the starters. Nerf the free ranger's ammo capacity, players can just stand and shoot which isn't fair due to the amount of damage it does. Nerf the damage of the free ranger. Free ranger in my opinion should 3 shot somebody. Buff the crackshot ammo capacity, 5 should be perfect, but there needs to be a cock back time of .01 seconds per shot. The whipper needs so many nerfs such as the ammo capacity, the range, the damages. The whipper has too much ammo and fires really good at close to long which isn't a smg attribute. If the whipper has less ammo like about 30-45 it would be more fair. Also if it can have less range and do the most damage at close it would make the game more better. Then the optimization, we need better optimization fixes like our ping and fps. Some of the players can't move due to the high quality and ping experienced. The maps are fun but also there are so much glitches happening. For example, when you jump to a stair you can automatically glitch off. Lastly, powers or super powers. We have super powers at 5 kill streaks and 10, we should have new superpowers. #fixourgame-Shell Shockers

maybe add a flamethrower weapon (overcooker) it does less damage maybe 1 but the advantage is that it is repetitive damage (high fire rate), every 1 second, it deals 20 damage, and the fire last 0.5 seconds, good for 1v1 that takes forever (because you dodge all enemy bullets while fire cant be dodged)

-Make it so that you can onl use a weapon that the host chose in settings. e.g, host chooses pistols and you can only use a pistol and picking another gun won't happen because it stops you

Hello, I have a few suggestions. Please take your time to read through these, as others also consider these ideas quite relevant:

1: Create a grenade speed in settings - i.e. right now, if I wanted to throw my three grenades as far as possible, it would take quite long. There should be a variable time (through a slider, or fast, medium, slow) at which the grenade goes from lowest distance to max distance.

2: Most of you won't know this, but in some of the maps, where there are thin walls, e.g. Shellville or Road, you can grenade through those little green and white striped roofs; I think this is a bug, and should therefore be fixed.

3: One very important for me - this is to do with aiming. Currently, there is a sensitivity slider, to change sensitivity, from 1-100. For most beginner players, the sensitivity is absolutely fine, and I am grateful for the option to tweak it. What there isn't, is ADS sensitivity, and this is when you right-click, or press Shift to aim, and this does not currently have a sensitivity slider. I know this may sound like much, but it would be very helpful to tweak, as I am not currently very happy with how it currently is (too slow).

I know this is a lot, but I these are the main suggestions I have for the game, and if you are content with these, pls upvote.

make it so in shell you can climb walls but not totally and you could wall jump, or even add some movement mechanics in the game, which would really bring some more light, just my opinion. if you dont know what wall jump is, just google or yt search, like "apex legends wall jump" a wall jump is where you gain speed before the wall jump, then you kinda climb it, then fly off gaining height. could be a way to gain height. also would like some movement mechanics in the game... just a thought

Allow players to choose options in game settings to have/select original lighting or the current one as of rn, cos not everyone likes either setting (some like og lighting, some like new lighting). If BWD was reading this, pls consider this idea, as this would def help the egg gamers out there.
Bring back the gun stats to shell shockers, so players new to the game, can pick an ideal gun to play with depending on the damage, accuracy, speed etc. Ik this is an old feature, but this also helps egg gamers.

add an in-game recording device, similar a clip from twitch, from your last two or three death you can clip a certain bit, for me and probably quite a few other people recording is impossible as you get 15-25 fps and have maybe 300ms at least, this would make it a lot easier for smaller content creators to get started if they don't have a good laptop or they have an old one.

My second suggestion would be to create like a 'daily achievement' where you have 24 hours since you've achieved something else like 'get a 10ks with shotty' or 'get 100 kills in one lobby' and they get proggresively harder, if you miss a day or fail you restart. This would certainly provide some motivation to really grind the game and eventually someone could get a rare code???

My Third suggestion has been suggested a lot but I'm gonna mention it anyway, a friend system, maybe make a that you can get a an set name, you can change ur ing name but that if you wanna friend req someone they can type in chat, 'my name is XXreX' and you can type it in or you could click on someone's name and instead of only the 'mute' button coming up maybe add the friend req button as well.

My fourth and final suggestion is that you can scroll through chat, right now only 6 messages are displayed and if one or two people are chatting and no one wants to hear it maybe add a scroll up mechanism? I know 'mute' does this as well but its less well known and its kind of hard to do.

Shell Shockers: Currently in Shell League, people are saying to get new verifiers because the ones we have are either lazy or don't verify correctly. In my opinion, you should add a feature in game, when you die, you automatically have the options to either spectate your teammate(s) in first person (makes it look like you can see everything from their normal point of view and their crosshair placement), spectate in third person (makes it look like you can spectate from behind your teammate and your camera movement moves when your teammate is moving) or birds view (normal spectating) where you can move freely around the map like we currently can in game.

Pros: Helps us catch hackers who can easily bypass Shell League's Verification System plus referees who are suspicious from their aim or movement can record from their point view if this is added.

Cons: Creates toxicity with members who were being suspicious upon their gameplay.

I know this may be a feature difficult to add to the game but if Developers add this to the game, this will be very appreciated.

I believe that there should be an addition to shell shockers. I strongly suggest that there should be a new mode in this game called Scramble Time. In this new mode, the beginning of the overall game would be when you load into the mode there will be two equally distributed teams (red and blue). The game is kind of like a time attack mode to be the first team to eliminate the whole other team. You will be spawned in automatically and there will be an egg counting down from five and at 0, the egg cracks open then you are free to start cracking. When a winner is chosen, the teams will be shuffled up and played the round again and so on and so forth. I hope this suggestion will be considered in the game itself.

Idk if there's a way this could REALLY work but a new game mode where it's a battle royal type game mode where you can join and wait until the game has maybe around 50 people or less and once you hit a certain number, you have a few seconds before the game starts and once it starts you have to kill as many people as you can to be the last one standing. If you get killed you have the option to spectate or leave the lobby, and if you despawn same thing cause then people will cheat if they despawn and come back in. and you could also do this as a private game to and the one making the game can choose how many people go in. if they want 20 or 45 or 10 or the max 50. i think this would be cool.

Alright so, I know this has been said probably like 1000 times, but maybe by the February Update or the following month, I think it would be beneficiary to make it so that in chat in game we are able to scroll up to read anything we missed. 1 Often times, we miss or forget the scores for 1v1s and Matches and Leagues, we also don't always get someones Discord Tag when we want to friend them to become friends. Having a chat scroll for that would not only benefit memory, and meeting new people, but it would also be good to identify if someone actually said like NR or stuff like that in league scrims that way we can confirm they aren't fibbing about saying they weren't ready if they lose the round and they just want to redo it, if ya follow. This would expand the game I think, and would also be better for us as players!

#💡・suggestions message adding to @Orbix , I completely agree with him. Maybe if you guys can't add a "3 Spectate Mode Feature" then add a Replay Mode the way Fortnite has theirs. Back when I used to play Fortnite, there was a replay mode where you can go into spectate and move around when everything is frozen (like a video but you're in it). The way we would be able to access "Replay Mode" which is what we should call it, is by having the game link (code).

Pros: Everyone who played in that game will have the game link so it'll be accessible to them. Anyone who has the game link can go back and record anything they want and share to the public.

Cons: Considering there is about a hundred links generated and sent out to everyone, people may lose the link.

If you think its not a good idea, you can always go back to mines #💡・suggestions message which is very similar to Orbix's suggestion, only difference is that my suggestion is LIVE and that his is a replay.

Shell Shockers: In Shell Shockers, people like streamers have on multiple occasions for an update in private games where the owner/creator of the game will have more accessibility in the game. For e.g. In current Shell Shockers we don't have the option to lock a private game, to be able to see easily if players are spawned and the way i think we could do this is if we can toggle between different eggs perspective and this is a bit much but if we could kick players without having to de-spawn. This would benefit the community in numerous ways like the streamers that dedicate their time entertaining us and giving a name to Shell Shockers. The annoying thing about shell is the soundeffects. I know alot of people (including me) that mute the audio of shell shockers because there are too many sounds and they are really annoying (even the reloading sounds are annoying). Maybe reduce this. The 'OG' shell sounds were way less annoying and ppl played with sound on. And, when your in scrims and 1v1s it's a disadvantage for people without sound on because they won't hear nades or gunshots; instead they just hope that the opponent's gunshot misses and hits a nearby wall within their peripheral vision. Please do something about this.

Just an extra note: The most annoying sounds are the pistol, AK and whipper sounds. And the most annoying reloading sound is the pistol's and sniper's. 6764_angry_ducky

@ParaducX suggests - Im think of a new mini game for Shell. The new gamemode would be a version of soccer. The ideal map would be dirt. Because of its size, and the Gamemode would be cap the spat. Your goal is to get the spat to the other teams spawning area without getting killed on the way there. The Blue team would go for the area in red's spawn where there is two boxes you can jump on in the back. And red team's goal would be to get it on that pile of boxes on the corner in which you have to go down that long path in blue team's spawn. The person with the spat can only use a pistol though. The rest of their team is to try and protect them from anyone else trying to kill/ get the spatula. And the first team to 5 goals or the end of the time limit (if you set one) wins. Just An idea though. A really, really thought out idea.

I love the idea of creating new guns and I appreciate bwd trying to make something new. But, there is many problems with this gun (at least I think) and I had an idea on a different gun to add to the game. The gun would be a main gun and it would be a deagle that would do 100 damage if hit in the middle of the egg. it would have 3 bullets to shoot before reloading the gun. I think this would be a pretty good gun, not to OP and not to sucky. upvote this to get this gun in the game!

Rework the semi automatic sniper (free ranger).

At the moment, its different bullet speed from the crackshot is awkward when you're trying to get good with both guns. In addition, the inconsistent 1 taps and unnecessarily large clip of 15 make the gun cumbersome to use and awkward to play against. I recommend a smaller clip, faster bullet speed (same as crackshot), a faster firing rate, and more consistent damage, potentially slightly decreased so that it cannot one shot anymore.

I'm not sure eggsactly which changes are needed right now, but the gun is pretty weird and off for me at least at the moment so I reccomend a rework in order for it to find a more defined role in shells current metagame.

Add an achievement system! Again, this is just a way to flex your Shell Shockers experience. For example, when you reach 50000 kills, you get an achievement. Or when you do an RPEGG kill from very far away, you get an achievement

Statistics

I know we already have some stats info in Shell Shockers, but the statistics that I mean here is a fully detailed one, including some graphs to show your KDR progress over your time playing Shell Shockers.

Trading should be an added thing in the future sometime. People already are doing it with item codes. Why not embrace it?
You could add item codes to each item, even if it is in your inventory and it'll be hidden so if you were streaming or something you wouldn't get the item yoinked from your inventory. But you could trade it if you wanted.

Game: Shellshockers - Maybe we should have different movement speeds based on the gun you're carrying. Similar to how other FPS games do it. A lighter and more "in the face" weapon would be faster, while a heavier and more "long range with high damage" weapon would be slower (but not super slow)

Egg-k-make the bloom smaller cause it is very inaccurate

Free ranger- less bullets, make 7-10 bullets. And make bloom larger when walking cause when a free ranger noob is walking and spamming and it kills me is very annoying :/

when joining a pub lobby for shellshockers let us choose what maps we would like to get loaded into, it gets annoying reloading 15 times before i get to a map that i want to play on especially if it keeps putting me in the same maps. If this isn't possible due to no such server in the region it should say something like "No server available in US East that meet these specifications but US Central has 3 such servers available" or something along those lines. just my opinion cause i have a strong preference for some maps over others

Game: Shell Shockers - Tbh I don't like how VIP items leave your inventory. It just does not feel like an item when u get something but then it can go away for your inventory. So here is an idea - Instead of making it leave your inventory when you Vip run's out, make so that you get VIP items the longer your Subbed to it. Ex. Your now officially subbed for a month to VIP so for prize for being subbed to VIP for a Month you get the VIP wings. You are now been subbed to The VIP for 3 months, for a thanks for being subbed to VIP for 3 Months now you get The Holy Hand Grenade. Then you are now been Subbed to VIP for 6 months you get another item. Wearing these show how long u were subbed to VIP or have been subbed to VIP. And as the Months go you get more rare VIP items since you have been subbed longer. Hope everyone gets what I'm trying to say 🙂
