More medium-sized new maps.
Reasoning - Small maps can get quite chaotic, especially in a 16-person FFA lobby, while it can be quite hard to find people in big maps especially when there's <8 people in the lobby.

• Most of the new maps in the past year have not been medium sized maps (Shady Glen - Small, Hydro - Large, Cash - Large, Chicken Itza - Large, Tree Fort - Small, Quarry - Medium, Exposure - Large, Bedrock - Small, Outer Reach - Large, Aqueduct - Large)
• In my opinion, they're the most fun to play on.

I suggest we have a system where we stop people from changing teams in team mode. Instead, if teams are unfair, there can be an automatic system that makes the teams fair during/before the game. Bro i´ve been playing teams, and my team just quit and it got to a time where I was the only one playing while 8 others from the other team 😭 . Another suggestion would be to cut out all the inactive people who arent even playing. This annoys me so much and surely must annoy other people when noticing that half of your team isnt playing. I present to you a solution for aimbotting:
This solution aims to:
Acknowledge the increase of aimbotting in the past few months due to StateFarm Client;
Recognize the need of action for Statefarmers to unban themselves;
Address the need of longer and harsher bans;
by:
A. Harsher punishments, both initial and repeat;
i. Harsher initial punishment on aimbotting;
a. A one-hour ban is not long enough and aimbotters can easily wait it out;
b. A one-hour ban is not severe enough to stop aimbotters from aimbotting;
ii. An increase of IP bans;
a. People can just use other proxy sites as getting banned on one proxy sites won't mean getting banned on others;
b. Statefarmers can unban themselves, resulting in temporary bans being rendered useless;
c. IP bans are rarely carried out despite the fact that many people are "IP ban" worthy;
B. A banner on the main page to combat Point A;
i. This banner would warn aimbotters the harsh (initial & repeat) punishments of aimbotting, including several hour bans and IP bans;
ii. Motivates more people to not aimbot due to the punishments;
C. The increase of eggforcers;
i. There aren't that many eggforcers;
1. Results in longer time for eggforcers to arrive in a player's lobby, resulting in more time for aimbotteres to flee (if eggforcers even arrive);
2. During times where most eggforcers are sleeping, only a few eggforcers are awake and ready;
ii. There is simply WAY TOO MANY reports from shell kids thinking a kid with a 10 kill streak is aimbotting, resulting in eggforcers to 'skip' on several lobbies;

I suggest BWD to make a trench warfare type of map. Trench's are basically 2 large pits. Those 2 trenches would be seperated because thats how its supposed to be layed out. You can snipe the eggs from the trenches and you can nade the blue/red teams trench which is fun because you can get alot of people with those nades. But obviously, you cant nade them from your trench base. You would have to cross "No Mans Land" thats what they call the open field between the 2 trenches. Its risky to walk there because you can easily get sniped but if your successful you can get close enough to throw some nades and retreat back. Or you could bombard the blue/red teams trench randomly. This would be a good map for game modes if you think about it. Heres a blue-print of a trench, it looks bland but it looks better in person.

A special BWD Esthimathon (especially for Dev Discord Day) for #⚔・competition ! First place gets Buck code of choice, second place gets flame code of choice, and third place gets Albino code of choice!

The questions will be estimation problems (i.e. How many total accounts are there in Shell Shockers, the most used skin this year was used x times, etc.) that are pretty much impossible to answer unless you are a wizard. Thus, each player will submit their answers in intervals inclusive (for example, if the question is: How many people have the buck crackshot, they could submit the interval 100-200 which means that they guess that 100-200 people have the Buck crackshot). Intervals' lower and upper bound have to be positive integers. There will be 10-15 questions (or however many the wizards decide) and mods and wizards can scorekeep. The team with the lowest score wins!

Here's how the score works, and get ready for some nerdy math: (10 + Σ(floor (max/min)) * 2^(how many questions the wizards decide to do - # of good intervals) good intervals

So, in other words, for every question a team gets wrong, their score doubles. I think this would be a cool, fun idea for a competition!

With the weapon rebalance update, aiming down sights (ADS) has become a more essential mechanic when it comes to improving gameplay. However, some of the weapon models are currently positioned in a way where they cover a large portion of the area in which you are trying to aim.

I thought it would be good to add a toggle option in the settings where the weapon model's opacity is turned down when toggling ADS. In the example below, the model is 30% of its original opacity:

Normally in Deal or No Deal, it's cash prizes, but here, it's eggs and rare codes! There will be 16 prizes that I have decided upon but wizards can change (5 eggs, 10 eggs, 50 eggs, 100 eggs, 250 eggs, 500 eggs, 1000 eggs, 5000 eggs, 10000 eggs, 20000 eggs, 50000 eggs, 100000 eggs, Pablo smile stamp, Tier 1 code of choice, Tier 2 code of choice, Tier 3 code of choice) Read rules if this makes no sense.

In the game Deal or No Deal, there are 16 cases, each with 16 different rewards. Each case holds something ranging from 5 eggs to Tier 3 code of choice! To start, each cases will all be totally random and not shown to the player. In the game, the player chooses one case to start with, and that will be the case that they will hold on to for the rest of the game. Then, they will start out by selecting 5 boxes at random, and those boxes will be opened and eliminated. (For example, if they selected 5 eggs, 1000 eggs, 10000 eggs, Pablo smile stamp, Tier 2 code of choice, those would be eliminated). Then, they will receive an offer from the bank, which will be explained below, and they can decline (no deal) or accept (deal). An offer (deal) from the bank ends the game, and they walk home with what they got. After they have selected 5 boxes, the same rules apply but with 4 boxes, then 3, then 2! At the end (if the player makes it) they have a choice to swap with the other 1 spare case, and then will open their case and they get what's inside! The same rules apply with this last 1 case and they open the remaining case .

The deal from the bank is the average of the remaining boxes rounded to the nearest 5th (so if there were 10, 500, and 1000 eggs, the bank would offer 505 eggs instead of 503.3 repeating.) Note that Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 codes can't be represented by eggs, so they will count as 0 eggs.

The winner will be chosen through #🎁・giveaway and the game will be streamed so everyone can watch and cheer!

-like the egg ammo thats around the map, in the centre make it so that there are only 3 ammo drops but they have eggs covered in armory as they give the user a 5ks shield.

• the storm should be the ground turning red to symbolise heat and how eggs are fried
  -20/25/30 players in the large map
• the winner should recieve 500 eggs
• no respawn

Address the diminishing reward concern for long-time players who have accumulated a large number of kills and eggs over the years, many of whom have nothing left to purchase with their eggs.

I understand this suggestion only affects a very small subset of the ShellShock player base. However, for the love of long-time players and user retention among this group, I hope BWD could consider doing something for them.

Here is my experience in this regard:

• Eggs Spent Lifetime: 5,916,985
• Current Eggs: 2,974,200
• I have been playing ShellShock for about 4 years.
• I have already bought everything in the shop, as have many other long-time players like Wes.

(1) Chick'n Winner: Since I already own everything, purchasable by eggs, from the shop, any duplicate items from the Chick'n Winner are converted to eggs based on their tier if I already own that item. Personally, it has been nothing but eggs for me for months.

(2) Quests: Quest rewards currently only provide eggs, in staging environment. While there might be quest-related items in the future, these could simply be earned by playing the game like everyone else.

(3) Bi-Weekly Updates: I truly appreciate the efforts that BWD/Astra continue to make by releasing new items with each update. Unfortunately for me, most of the items are from previous years which I've already own, and the few new items available can be purchased with only relatively few eggs.

How it would work:
• On the home page there is a aim trainer button (right by the play with friends button)

• You go into the map and then eggs or even just targets pop up that you have to shoot them

Why we need this
• A lot of competitive players and anyone who is looking to improve are always using aimlabs, 3d aim training, etc. And none of them are 100% accurate when it transfers over to shell shockers because it is VERY HARD to get the exact same mouse sensitivity in an online aim trainer as in shell shockers. (like its hard to make them the exact same)

• If we had an in game aim trainer then we would obviously be using the same sensitivity as when we are actually playing shell shockers so then we would improve way more and we wouldn't be wasting hours on an inaccurate aim trainer.

I believe the game should implement a gun upgrading tier system. Every certain amount of kills you get or any kind of "mission" if we could bring those into the game for egg coins, you get an upgrade on your gun. I know there is a base damage, but I feel like different types of one specific gun should be able to do more damage. Each kill with that gun would be worth a specific amount of XP and when you reach "Tier 1" of the XP it upgrades your gun to like an example of +1% more damage or something like that. So that people would use different guns more, because there not all equal and the same as every other person they play against. But yet again its just a suggestion and I have another thought process with this idea that I cant explain the best

Shell Shockers.The new ui isn't the best and majority of the community agree, the text when killing a player is too small. The kill streak feature when killing a player was removed people would prefer to know when they're going to hit a 5 kill streak or 10 kill streak without looking at the leaderboard. You aren't able to tell when you get a double kill unless you look at the leaderboard. You aren't able to see your shield health which is dumb. This has already been said a couple a times but its hard to differentiate between the you got a kill and you killed texts they're practically identical. I also do not think there was a reason to change the shade of blue and red in team based game modes as it seemed perfectly fine before, the weapon select buttons should be bigger. Overall I think the main problem is the text is too small when eliminating a player. This is just my own opinion there's been plenty of unnecessary changes like with the FPS and ping box making it smaller and moving the changing region feature into settings. Generally feel like most people prefer the 2022 UI before these unnecessary changes.

I know there's blanking animations but sometimes I don't even get the blank animation (i.e. the bullet disappears entirely) and I'd like some help understanding this as no one talks about these types of blanks. This would hopefully help SS find more eggforcers (which a lot of players seem to want) while reducing the workload on current eggforcers and on training.

UI Update Fixes
As many are complaining about the new UI (I quite like it except for some details), I decided to make a list of small changes that might make the new interface easier to use.

Kill Notifications: You Killed and Killed By are too similar and in same location, maybe have You Killed Notification at the top of screen instead, and potentially use different icons or colors to differentiate too.

Location of In-Game Menu Right now it is aligned to the top-left, please center it to the screen.

KOTC Red VS Blue It is really hard to tell who has the spatula at the moment, somehow differentiate more between the team that has it and the team that doesn't. Maybe use bolder text, or an icon of sorts.

Chat when Despawned All other UI Elements that have the same design as the chat when despawned have a margin relative to the page. Add that margin to the chat as well.

Best Streak and Current Players When not spawned into the game, best streak and player list are visible at the top left, but they look very out of place and cluttered there. While it might be useful to be able to see these, the player list should be hidden when despawned and best streak can be moved elsewhere.

Whenever a misbehaving and/or cheating players is removed/kicked/banned by an admin/eggforcer, the game should display a message to everyone that the person was removed/kicked/banned with an optional reason why.

Reason: The problem with silent kicking is, that still many people do not believe that actual action is taken against cheaters. Therefore too many people still think engaging in cheating and/or toxic behavior is some kind of extra-challenge.

A counter-argument would be, that the more present the battle against cheaters is, the more potential cheaters feel challenged.
But I think the positive effect on those who do not cheat but suffer would outweigh that temporal boost in triggered cheaters.

From there the hatman can still create more shell walkers but cannot summon anymore arch demons for 12 minutes

Brown snake weapons are pretty common nowadays.
"Way too much fosho. That's why those brown snakes were added a long time ago but now that getting eggs is easier, I can see some stretch goals being set up" - Wizups

Wizups asked us for ideas on "some super rare skins at the 100k / 1 million price point". He “totally agrees on releasing maybe some store premiums for 1 million+.” And Wizups added that they would be “total swag items, but it makes sense to give players something to strive for and show off.”

In my opinion, the frying pan melee could very much be that ultimate skin. Just like 🍳 emoji, it is unique and aesthetic. It captures all the egg-smashing actions in a single powerful swing, as if you can hear that satisfying “Clang” sound. And with that single enduring fried egg hanging over the edge, not falling down despite repeated smashing actions, it reflects years of egg-smashing experience.

Unlike "Golden Bar" melee, it does not give out vulgarly-rich vibe 😛

make it so that the further away weapons are, the less damage they do. the closer they are, the more damage they do. this makes crackshot not just 1 shot from any range, and makes shotgun not just a long range sniper if ads. Im talking about implementing this concept for all guns. if this isnt possible, at least make it so that each weapon can only use a certain secondary. Having crackshot with pistol AND melee is a bit unfair, since that means it can both do close range AND long range too. A different concept is to have it so if you use crackshot, you can only use pistol and no melee. for shotgun, same concept. Not both melee and pistol allowed, but just pistol or just melee. This would balance out weapons a bit if that makes sense. Said simply, create classes for the guns.

bwd add new gamemodes! shell, to thrive, needs to have new gamemodes added to the game. my suggestion is a bounty hunter game. basically, one arbitrary person gets chosen as the bounty, and the more kills this person gets, the more the prize for the bounty is. for example, if the bounty guy has a 10 ks, the bounty is 5000 eggs! people can see the location of the bountied homie, and the bounty guy has a shield. the bountied dude, when he gets kills, gets 50 eggs per kill. this can be a fun addition to the game. captula the spatula is sorta like this, but this has more incentive.

Have two separate stats tracking different egg metrics in profile:

• Inventory Eggs Value: (1) eggs that player spent on skins + (2) eggs value gained from redeeming skin code
• Eggs Spent: (1) eggs that player spent on skins + (2) eggs that player spent to wake up chicken

Context:
I am aware that Eggs Spent represents the total egg values of a player inventory at the moment: (1) eggs that player spent on skins + (2) eggs value gained from redeeming skin code

But it was little confusing for new players (they wouldn't probably care lol) to understand what this stats represents just based on its literal meaning. They would only think it is just how much eggs they have spent on skins

Now with more ways to spend eggs on, this Egg Spent stats could get even more confusing, especially for those players who think their eggs spent to wake up chicken should also count towards Egg Spent

Nice suggestion! It would be neat to see. Right now there are not that many other ways to spend eggs, other than waking up chicken winner. But the more we add the more useful this would be.

Add multipleld secondaries. Pistol is cool and all, but it would be nice to have something with a slower fire rate and higher damage, or more ammo and less damage, etc. It might seem useless but I think it would be the kind of update that people would look forward to and enjoy, although it might make pistol only battles (via game settings) harder to manage.

Remove this spawn point from the new map, or add a block or smth. I know you can make the jump if you have really good timing, but it'll be pretty much impossible for the average pub kid. Poor kid over here regretting his life decisions (he would later jump off and die).

add a toggleable sens feature for shell. for super low sens players, it feels nice to aim on low sens but a nightmare to try to check awareness and move around for game sense movement. make it so a button that can be changed like a mouse button or a keyboard key can toggle between 2 sensitivty numbers. for example i use 25 sens on 200 dpi and find that perfect to aim, but a nightmare to move around, so make it a option to change between 2 sens like for example 25 and 100, so that 100 can be used for movement and checkign awareness, and 25 for actual aiming. hope that makes sense

make a leveling system. shell doesnt really have a driving incentive for people to work towards. its more practical to add a leveling system which can be based on kills, kills with a certain weapon, and more. levels can be a fun way to display your skill. there could be settings which hide levels, and hide your level to other people. it would make grinding shell fun, and u could get eggs as a reward or smth else, like a custom gun skin.
