Yo, I am having this problem where my mouse works until I spawn in, I can shoot but not move my crosshair. I have tried 3 different mice, and different shell websites, rebooting my comp, resetting history, and the fix mouse glitch button is settings (I have tried basicaly everything ik) it’s all the same outcome. Which browser are you using? If chrome - try using incognito mode. Also can you send a video or a screenshot of what you mean as i think i have experienced something similar.

What is the Fix Mouse Glitch?

Yeah the glitch in question is something with Chrome, and we implemented a fix for it, but noticed some players saying since then, their mouse was being weird, so we added the option to fix the Chrome glitch or not, depending on what option worked best for people.
After having it live for a bit and seeing the feedback, love the function, name maaaaay be a little misleading, so might talk to someone about that 😛

If, however, you mean the random map you load into when pressing Play, theres a set rotation of Public maps, and it randomizes between those

nope, theres a few, but it tries to populate the servers based on player count (as far as I know)

Well, realistically, if youg et a 15 second ad, you watch the whole thing.
If you get a an ad longer than that, I think you're supposed to be able to skip it after 15 seconds, so I understand people considering ads bugs if they fall outside that criteria

We have mentioned it to adinplay, but it doesn't happen often enough to warrant serious consideration

As mentioned in the report of the 50 second one, we do use this to generate revenue, so ads are a necessary evil that aren't going away

however, if you see a 30 second unskippable, and ESPECIALLY a longer one, please run your mouse over it at 16 seconds and make sure no X comes up, then let me know (with a screenshot please!)

The mroe people who complain, the more I'll be able to say "this is a problem"

Go to your mouse settings no actually to shell shocker settings and check your mouse speed @smoky hedge

Check it is at 0 if it is then change it to something higher than 40

And if your settings perfect and it's not working then head over to Privacy > Camera > Make sure following
Allow access to this camera on this device is set to ON
Allow apps to access your camera is set to ON
Also down below Choose apps that can use your camera is ON for appropriate apps

I don't know if that works for mac but if it doesn't just ping me again

It is intentional to carry streaks over, as it seems a needless punish to wipe them even though they didn't die, and the round transition is pretty smooth; if the map changed we would consider it but that's not something we ARE considering atm 😛

if the mouse didn't work at all, I would be in favour of the port not working etc etc, but it seems to work until it is in game, so something is failing in the communication of the computer and mouse with the server disabling the cursor and hijacking it for camera

Found a reliable repro don’t have a recording cause i forgot to record. Now im on phone. Also need to do more testing to look into certain things. The easiest way to do it is stand in a corner and visit a realm you don’t have permission to visit. The game spits you back like you tried to enter a portal you arnt allowed to go through. The backwards motion lets you clip out

I’m testing if I eat warp crunch that leads to a realm I can’t enter, but I need to get my hands on a warp food bumper on my alt. They are decently expensive. Right now I know it only works in overworlds where you can search realms to join

i actually found a different bug while trying to repro the 1st bug (this bug is similar to the bug of pressing tab and enter specific number of times to get your inventory egg in the middle of the screen)
the new bug i just found is a leaderboard bug where your name shows up twice
My steps reproducing this is:
1 click on your name text box thing on the home screen
2 press enter
3 for funzies you can spam enter. doesn't really mater i think (unless you time it out then it does matter)
4 wait untill you see object mesh load in the console
5 press enter again
6 you go back to home page and from there it puts you in a lobby with 2 of urself on leaderboard

Past 2-3 months, keep having so many blank shots. If I switch weapons in the game, the new weapon does no damage. I have to switch weapons 3-4x before I get one that works. Esc and switch and back. Super annoying. The old trick of switching to pistol and back doesn't work. I have this issue with Chrome and Brave browsers.

Switching weapons is for picking up ammo, not blanks.

This is usually a factor of your ping vs the other player's. if you have high ping on a foreign server, the local players will have good ping and there will be a mismatch in how your session relays and receives information from the server that they don't have. So if you shoot them, your client says "they are here, my bullet hit them" but THEIR client says "I am 5 feet to the left, this did not hit me" and now the server has to receive one machine confirming a hit and one confirming a miss

and thats what we call a blank :3

the way to fix those blanks would be to prioritize the high ping player's network response to the server, but this would then punish the low ping player who didn't get hit on their screen, and you would have people getting killed by shots that grazed them or missed outright, which is arguably a much worse problem

I usually play on Singapore server with 55 ping. So I think it's not bad. Only when I go to Oz server or US do I get 200+ ping. It's not a ping issue. It's really blanks. I have shot people point blank 5x and does 0 damage. Eventually after switching weapons a few times, it starts to work. If it were a ping issue, it wouldn't work at all. So I really don't know what it is.

Sadly not a bug haha, it's design. having it in inventory would work one of two ways; the first being you see what you own that is currently limited, but then the next month all that goes away and you only see that month's. Fine for that month but doesn't really serve much purpose.
The other way it shows every limited item ever that you own, which then becomes a massive clutter (moreso because the limited tab doesn't distinguish between hats/stamps/skins) so that would be harder to navigate than the class tab itself.

So after multiple maps and dev maps and staging maps, the catacombs map has ammo aswell as nades outside of the map, and inside the big catacomb hill. now nades being inside the catacomb hill was only there in the last update, and has disappeared ever since the update came out. the ammo and nades seem to be at the ledges and under the map itself near the open gates. maybe an easteregg?

also, i spawned into a sky scratcher map, got a 5 killstreak, and at every corner bottom of the map, the shield sparkles were out of the map.

at 10ks, i spawned out to get some water, came back spawned in, and tp to the top of the tower then fell straight trhough out of the map :/

the inventory highlight for grenades is toggleable when you can't "unequip" a nade completely (like stamps and hats can). Gun highlights stay filled orange, even when you click on them again - grenades should be this way too.

Another questionable inventory UI thing is when you change a skin (hat or stamp) while holding a grenade skin, it resets the grenade animation instead of letting it continue through the skin change

That weird same thing happened with me too, on csg1 yesterday.
Spawned with csg1 (switched) should have full ammo but have 1/3 . Then i shoot and it goes 0/3 then obviously reloads but then i have 4/3 bullets and i shoot 4 bullets then reload again.

it's that weird gun glitch I've hear mention of. You can see in the shotgun clip they reload and have two shells, then it drops down to 1 before they fire, and 0 when they shoot

so it's behaving like a sniper for sure

I figured out the glitch, it seems as if to activate, you first have to select a weapon. You then have to press play and home in quick submission. Then you select no to the popup, and you choose a second weapon. Your gun will show as the second weapon, but will have the function as the first. Also, if you despawn or die after doing this, you will start to be spectating around the map, but you will still be able to move and shoot with your egg. Hope this helped.

nut have you tried a different BROWSER? Safari (the apple internet browser) did a weird update that messed with a bunch of ways things interact with them, so my suspicion is your mouse will work on Chrome or Firefox or something

Thats because we didn't delete ALL fonts; we had to leave some in so that people who actually spoke the languages could use their own language.
There are SO many Unicode characters that while a flat "no" to all is easy, picking and choosing individual exceptions is unrealistic, so we opted to allow blocks of allowances, and unfortunately, some will slip past. All we can do is our best at the time, and improve as we go, mostly by people like you sending in things we missed or didn't consider, so thank you for this 🙂

first of all anything on the dev site is not considered a bug its a dev testing ground and secondly i dont see how you got 2 hats i just bought the nades and got none whatsoever so make sure your not using a shared account while testing or using a skin hack client the bug your describing should be theoretically impossible

yes you will get them once they are released in actual live version. if it's causing some glitch then you can check the pinned message, in one of them I have told how to fix it (possibly)

Items that are re-released should show up from staging but even if some of them don't, it isn't counted as a bug since staging and dev are meant for the devs to test stuff. Buying things from staging/dev isn't advised in the first place - do it at your own risk (there's a risk of losing eggs). The best thing to do is just wait until the update and buy skins on the main shell site.
