Were you playing on a local server? I see that your ping was not what I would qualify as "good" even at it's best. Can you maybe get logs of the spikes? might be making weird calls

Like if I'm chasing you right and I'm be hind you it's going to teleport me back where I was and my ping be crazy red green medium , I dont lag or crash it's just that the glitch happen most of the time to me and it's mostly annoying sometimes bc when some one low it's going to teleport me back where I'm from also when i get close to a player and try to shoot the game crash a little then I die that's annoying as well even though there's was a hacker using aimbot I guess the hacks that the person was using probably mess up the game server

The reason I asked is because we did a bug fix concerning the polling rate of a mouse. try going into a custom game and give it a try, spawn in and shake your mouse a bit, see if its still laggy ten seconds later

I say custom because I THINK this fix slows it down for the first few seconds after respawning, so I don't want you to die too fast to effectively test 😛
Very likely this isn't even the issue, but better to rule it out than ignore it

You could definitely try lowering your DPI and polling rate, as it might be sending too many signals and not having them all read

the way the "default" server is set is when you log in, it sets you to the server with the lowest ping, which should theoretically be your closest server

sometimes, a random ping spike, or a particularly good day for Germany or something, could affect that, as well as that pesky issue where a random server(s) will display as 1000 ping

so if that happens to you, check if Sydney is the lowest ping for you.

If it occurs again then we know it is server side, meaning the other person has a weird name. If not we know it was a problem on your end :)

In Game, I have trouble flicking upwards and it just moves my cursor a little bit up instead of going the whole way almost as if lagging. I tried this for other fps shooting games and flicking upwards is fine but not for shell. This also happens when flicking downwards. Yeah this is due tot he polling rate on your mouse, and a change we made to it. it had some weird side effects we are investigating, but for the moment, does this issue occur with your console open?

Well, I believe this was fixed by one of the augh people by resetining the driver and then changing the polling rate which fixed it

I had the same issue. If u decrease ur dpi then increase ur sense in shell it should get better.

I do not, I've seen people complain about it, but in some of these situations, I've popped into a game theyve been lagging in and been fine, as have other people in the server, so I'm leaning more into it being a client-side issue. In many of these cases, it also seems like playing in Incognito mode has resolved the issue, leading me to think theres some extension or cache issue slowing the game down for them

Detail: if i had a shotgun and change to sniper, my sniper shoots twice and same happens with other weapons, so this is annoying. Until and unless i close shell shockers tab and open anew, it stays there :(

It happened to me before, if hard claer and reload is not working, just close your browser and open it again and start playing. If that's not working then clear catche and hard reload but this time after you are done with that, just restart your device

Yeah the glitch in question is something with Chrome, and we implemented a fix for it, but noticed some players saying since then, their mouse was being weird, so we added the option to fix the Chrome glitch or not, depending on what option worked best for people.
After having it live for a bit and seeing the feedback, love the function, name maaaaay be a little misleading, so might talk to someone about that 😛
