You can switch guns to be able to pick ammo up again

I think its caused by the server not recognizing the user as using the main gun, instead the server recognizes the user as using the pistol because you died with it, so even if your main gun has no ammo, the server tries to add ammo to the pistol, which is full, so you don't get ammo. If this is the problem, a fix would be to set the in-use weapon when you spawn to the main.

I purchased the viper skin with the description "Restrictions: Handgun Only"
As there isn't a gun specifically named 'Handgun', I assumed that the skin would apply to both "Money Maker" (Cochese's primary) and "Mother-in-Law" (Bingo's secondary). However this is not the case. There is actually no purchasable viper skin for Bingo's secondary pistol. Please add the secondary pistol viper skin to the shop and make it very clear witch one you are buying so you don't buy the wrong one, or include them both in the same purchase. (possibly at a higher price)

something weird i noticed was if you equip a viper skin to anything, from then on, all the next times you open the game/reload, the slot where you equipped the viper skin will be unequipped without a (known) way to fix it. this is really annoying but might just be a me-problem cause I bought some stuff on dev earlier. I'm reporting it now because the handgun I bought was not bought on dev, and the handgun is now having the same issue.

Do not always rely on the given pings. Most of the time, wrong readings are shown. Try out a game for yourself to actually know the ping your having.

I think it is probably a bug. try emptying your cache, and then hard reload. If it persists, open up the developer tools (Ctrl+Shift+I), and take a screenshot of any errors you see, and send them here, BWD can then look into the issue with the information you have provided.

I've never really used the safe usernames feature on shell so idk if this is how it's supposed to be. I'll attach videos of what's going on so that you can see what im referring to.
One variation shows that when you go into a game with safe usernames enabled, everything is default usernames (EggLord69, NoobCluck99...). However, once you turn it off in settings, only the kill log and scoreboard names go back to normal and the in-game player names stay default.
Secondly, if you go into a game with safe usernames disabled and then enable it, the in game names don't become default while the scoreboard and kill log do.

Again, I'm not sure if that's how it's meant to act (i've never used it before).

The Grenades in Merc Zone have a bug ; the cool down is broken. The grenade's meter refills in less than a second, instead of having a proper cool down before throwing it again. Players in-game spam-throw grenades, therefore farming kills too.

Also for e.g. you are playing with shotgun which has an ammo capacity of 2/24 and you swicth your gun to free ranger, then the ammo capacity would remain 2/24 instead of 15/60

It was letting me shoot twice with the crackshot even without a reload. In this clip, the first shot blanks but the second one does damage. It wasnt like the gun glitch that we've seen before (where the ammo changes to another gun). Before I started recording, both shots were doing full damage. I got the repro first try, and did it again after. It seems pretty consistent
this vid shows

1. before bug when the ammo is normal
   (to confirm that there is a direct cause-effect of what I am
   about to do)
2. how to trigger ammo glitch
   a) swap to pistol
   b) die (I used a nade)
3. how to fix it
   a) swap to pistol
   b) * only sometimes necessary * shoot and reload your pistol
   c) swap back to primary

what might be what is causing the issue is the game still thinks that ammo pick-ups should go to the pistol, and because the pistol is full ammo it doesn't pick up, even though you have your primary equipped. swapping back and forth likely updates the variable. just a theory :)

this error happened 3 games in a row and it freezes your game. returning to lobby and clicking play again doesn't fix it, I reloaded the tab and it got fixed, but the error happens again and again. there is no clear trigger for this error and it happens randomly in the middle of the match.

if you swap weapons right before you shoot your last bullet in the clip, it doesn't shoot the last bullet but it consumes it. also it won't auto reload your gun and you get a wonky animation when you switch back to it.

My ping on Singapore has been really weird. Spikes, input lag, blanks, fps drops. I always get full 60fps but it's suddenly become 40-50. It's unplayable. My wifi's fine and on the homepage it shows that singapore has the best ping (95ms) but when I get into the game, that's not the case.

I am unable to change the server and the weapons too. When I tried logging in, the screen just had an overlay, the sign-in options did not appear .I am also unable to join a game - the response when clicking "Play" is - "Retrieving your account, I know it's somewhere there". It loads on forever.

I think they are finding the ideal spawn, not randomly spawning in front of someone just to die a few seconds later. Significantly more fun with smart spawns than random ones

But that’s still doesn’t explain why they are flying around. The game should be able to calculate the spawn location without sending the player to a whole bunch of spawn locations (assuming my theory of smart spawns is correct, otherwise I may be talking nonsense)

One more thing, not really a bug but sometimes in merc I spawn on a nade, I never really spawn on people but I may have held the wr twice for fastest death. Not video recorded but I got less than a quarter second for sure. Rare but frustrating for cochese where it’s an insta death.

Tiny bug where the killstreak counter doesn't reset back to 0 when you go into another lobby. After you get your first kill in the new lobby, it goes back to 1.

#merc-zone is still having freezing issues. According to @kind lotus, the bug is triggered by sliding, but not every slide triggers it. It happens almost every game and he has to reload to fix. In his words: “[the] screen freezes, still technically playable, but you cant see anything. gun still fires, grenades still throw, weapons still switch, interface (excluding grenade box, and ammo) still updates”. The description sounds very similar to this earlier issue and rewatching my recordings, mine seem to also be triggered by sliding, I just didn’t realize. Blaze legend said he knew other people were having the same issue as him so this seams like a wide spread issue. @indigo token said he “….appreciates the ping for widespread issues for sure!” And if this is the same bug as the one I was having earlier, this bug is a very large issue. I know you released a patch for a certain other bug recently but this report is from just a few minutes ago, within the hour

HOW TO FIX BLANKS (DOESN'T WORK EVERYTIME)

Blanks can be very annoying and I know that literally every shell player suffers from them, myself included. I figured out a way that sometimes can stop you blanking, but you need to be in the game for it to work. Read below:

🥲 My Method

Step 1: Spawn with the gun you've been blanking with
Step 2: Switch to Pistol
Step 3: Kill a player with your Pistol
Step 4: Switch back to your main gun
Step 5: Shoot and Reload, No More Blanks!!

📋 Notes

This method won't always work and if you blank with pistol too then it definitley won't. If you keep blanking, the best thing to do is reload Shell or Join another game and hope you don't blank, I hope this helps.

The duplicate eggs that you're seeing seem to be doing the animation from inventory and are located right below the corner of maps - interesting find!

Having shell open in another tab = skin glitch + frozen stats and egg count. This one that I'm reporting has nothing to do with switching accounts, I was signed into my personal account the whole time. I did a similar test a while ago where it lets you switch accounts without leaving the game. I guess this would be adding onto that find.

There is a bug going around which is when you shoot someone it doesn't do any damage. Today I shot someone perfectly with my sniper, no damage.
