Before I say anything I want to apolagize for the hacking I did months back that was 100% my bad and I wont do it again.
And for the Bot DMs it wasn't for Shell Blitz, I sent the messages from my clan server(SLR) to a different server thats now deleted(and the messages were sent before the blitz server was even creatd)
I might have sent some after for Shell Blitz but I checked my DMs and I didnt find any but if I ddi im really sorry
And I didnt know that i couldnt send them because I saw other bots sending them, and also im pretty sure it was a different person(owner of that seerver) sending them he just used my bot maybe it was me but i dont remember but if it was me im extremely sorry
So im not sure if that contributes.
But if it does or anything or I need to do someting(if I need to make a new bot or something)

Bug experienced: In the shelf menu, I can't scroll all the way down with a controller. Specific controller used is a steam controller. Side note, using WASD or the arrow keys also causes the scrolling to loop.
Expected behavior: for the shelf menu to move down a line and continue going

Bug experienced: My computer hard crashed while I was trying to record an episode of Space Tyrant while battling the senate. When I rebooted the game wouldn't start properly anymore.
Expected behaviour: That the game would up again and I could conitnue where it had last saved.
I don't know how to reproduce this.
I've tried re-installing the game. Removing the folder where the game used to be after uninstalling before installing again. I'm not sure where the problem is.

Careful with steam cloud, it will try to download whatever it has stored when the game starts, best way to clear it out:
- Run the game, let it sit at the bad loading screen or main menu, whichever you get
- delete the files in the save directory.
- drop that file above in.
- Close and restart the game.

Bug experienced: While recording Space Tyrant with OBS I had a BSOD occur. It was my turn when it happened. A 2 star mission with the hoplites.
Expected behaviour: I expect to not have BSOD's while playing the game.
Steps to reproduce: I have no clue. As near as I can tell I'm not doing anything beyond what my computer can handle.
The campaign was borked again but fortunately the game was able to launch normally. Surrendering and starting a new campaign seems to allow me to keep my progress so far.
I am however suspending my campaign untill the next update. I don't suppose you have any advice for narrowing down what might cause this?
Speaking of bugs, I think I encountered something silly in Slayaway Camp: On the level Treat Sweeper (I think?), You can actually beat the puzzle while sparing the last victim.
Expected Behavior: The victim dies, THEN you leave. simple
Steps to Reproduce: You have to have killed all other victims with 2 turns remaining, and be standing on the pentagram next to the food mart guy, who knocks over a porta potty.
I think it has to do with the priority of certain events over others. This means that the leaving event take up a higher priority than the killing victim animation. It can occur on BOTH Mobile and PC.
Ah okay thanks for the report! I will take a look at the level. And you're right! It can happen if you're standing on the pentagram when a victim is supposed to die
It's kind of a stupid bug, and I like the silliness of it

yep, it works. The garbled exit message is back to normal, and I think my progress is back too. I wasn't very far into the game to begin with, but when I restarted earlier today, I had no progress and played through tape 2, mission 2. Just started back up and now I can pick up to tape 2, mission 8, which I think is where I had last stopped

weird that its in a different folder.. are you looking in the user folder? like if you go to the "Go" menu in finder then "Go to Path..." and copy/paste this path it doesnt work:

username/Library might be hidden if you're just trying to navigate there via the folders
yeah, I used the option key to bring up the hidden option in the menu to get into my user folder.

Space Tyrant bug: Just killed a Space Slug with a torpedoes card that says "kills 3 ships". Almost definitely not intended to kill slugs.

I found me a silly bug. If you fail the level and click on the "show me the walkthrough" the credits will roll as its showing the walkthrough
Also Scene 11 of 13 on Slayaway Camp 6 shows the solution which takes more turns than is really necessary
Also on Slayaway Camp 6 Deleted Scene "Surgical Stealth" The first hint says that the cop on the left is the first one to die, but that is false, he is the second, you kill someone before getting to him. Worded a tad confusing

For Space Tyrant: Are you aware that the state of the cards in the player's hand aren't saved when exiting to the Main Menu? It looks like the state of everything else (system layout, planet types, fleet composition, etc.) is, though.
AFAIK it's only the most recent card that isn't saved, as that only draws at the start of a new turn after the save.
Yeah, I'm suggesting that the state of the in-hand cards should be saved after each draw of a card.

@modest island So we had a second report of this issue, it actually isn't from rewinding. It requires a specific criteria to cause it which you obiviously had done as well. Thanks for reporting it, it was super helpful.

It's almost like the game thinks he's another player and is trying to update his directional data. Since it does that so many times per second, I would expect to see that sort of behavior.

There's nothing about Chrome that would lead me to think that it's a browser-compatibility issue.... I'm really starting to think it's a state-problem with Chrome itself. Has he tried shutting down all instances of Chrome and reloading it?

Ok.... I just updated it with a test... Have him try the dev server again, make sure he's by himself in a game, and have him keep an eye on the "chat" area to the left. If it's what I think it is, it'll say something about it receiving directional updates when it shouldn't be.
soo not sure if it is reported, but - if you play with bzzerk and you get the - "start the mission with 1 millitia unlocked" (not sure of the exact name) - you will get one more militia every time you close and reopen the game 😃

A character that spawns shouldn't spawn and it makes the level impossible to finish
Expected / Anticipated Behaviour:
When killing of the two pink-haired characters the level should end.
Steps to Reproduce
- Blue phone (Cop enters red teleporter, hits mine)
- Red phone (Cop hits mine and pink-hair with trunks is scared)
- Blue phone (Cop enters red teleporter, hits SWAT with porta potty, scares pink-hair with trunks onto mine)
- Blue phone (Pink hair with bikini runs to the gum in front of the red phone)
- Red phone (Pink hair with bikini moves up and cop moves left)
- Red phone (Cop enters blue teleporter, hits mine and scares pink hair with bikini onot mine)

While playing Skirmish mode, acquired tyrant traits do not show up on the empire sheet. I have a few traits at the moment, but the bottom left corner of the screen still says "traits can be earned through your choices during exploration".
Expected Behavior:
Various traits that I've learned appear under "Acquired Traits".
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start a game in Skirmish mode.
- Play through many turns until an exploration event gives you a new trait.
- Check the empire sheet by clicking the faction symbol in the upper-left corner of the screen.
I think that happens in main game too. doesnt update until the next mission - but it should

Font formatting for Item names and descriptions become corrupted when switching between Item types.

Font shouldn't be corrupted.

Like someone else on Steam is complaining, I see an Astron fleet next to my homeworld on the second mission of a campaign. It's 1 star difficulty. Want any more specifics?
What was the reasoning for not allowing Astrons around the player's homeworld? Are they stronger than the average neutral?
Hey, minor bug in shellshockers.
Many times, when I jump up from a box onto a full block, occasionally, I will get stuck on the edge and be unable to get on the block properly.
It occurs about 1 in every 30 jumps. To reproduce it, just jump onto the edge of a full block.
I unfortunately have no videos of it
I should be able to get on the block, but instead I clip against the edge and fall off after about 2 seconds

Ah yeah... sometimes there will be a "disagreement" between the server and client, and cutting corners really close like that will make that happen once in a while. I'll be re-visiting the movement code one of these days; it's something I'd like to see if I can address.
So while it looks like you're on the block on your end, the server actually thinks you're below, creating that "stuck" situation.

Hm... I think I can 'fix' it in a way... at least make it snap you to where you're supposed to be instead of just leaving you hanging.
Whenever this happens to me I get stuck in a loop of repeatedly falling off said block and if I try to jump I can't move forward but jumping away and getting decently far away from any blocks fixes it

While playing Skirmish mode, an injured leader from the campaign also had an injury during leader selection for Skirmish mode.
Expected Behavior:
Leaders are never pre-injured before playing Skirmish mode.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start a campaign.
- Surrender a mission.
- Return to the main menu.
- Try to start a Skirmish mode game as any race, then check the leader selection screen.

I had an issue in friday the 13th. I got to episode 7 and while doing the levels the game switched from the normal view to a top view of the game looking straight down. I tried to restart game no effect, reset my iPad no effect, I then deleted and reinstalled the app not on episode 7 yet but I lost all progress of my games from before. I have cloud save checked.
Its a pinch to zoom to get in and out of that view, as for cloud sync it is an issue we are working on! Thanks for letting us know.

Blitzkrieg Protocols empire perk loses its extra siege die if you quit to the main menu, then return to the game. (I used "Mercenaries" to help take over a planet, saw three dice to roll, then decided to replay the turn to save that card for later). Additionally, the fleet attack bonus is set at "2 turns left" upon return from the main menu instead of 3.
Expected Behavior:
3 turns of +1 siege dice & +25% atk for each player-controlled fleet.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start a campaign mission with "Blitzkrieg Protocols" as one of your chosen empire perks.
- Return to the main menu on turn 1.
- Re-open the mission.
- Look at the siege dice at the top to see 1 die remaining. Check the overlord's fleet screen to see 2 turns remaining for +25% atk bonus.
Backed out to main menu!!! 😉

Well, eggs would suddenly stop shooting, moving like humans, or taking damage. They did not interact with me, and continued in the same direction that they were previously moving in when the bug hit. Could be due to lag spikes, but other eggs still move normally, and my ping is 60ms on an ethernet cable.
Expected / Anticipated Behaviour:
The eggs should still be controlled by humans and shoot at me and let me kill them.

Play a campaign as the Bzzerk Union. As perks unlock, choose Crony Capitalism, then follow its perk path until Royal Jelly comes up. Choose it as a perk. then start another mission. While in-game, check both the empire perks screen as well as the empire income tool-tip.

Ahhh.... if pointer lock isn't already enabled, doh... SO MANY CONDITIONS. Actually, in retrospect, TAB was probably not the best choice, anyway. I'd use ESC if I could, but the browsers grab that and use it to exit pointer lock, and I can't do anything about that.
Maybe I could just go ahead and drop pointer-lock in chat, and if you want to exit chat, you just have to click?
It would suck to have to interrupt and discard what you're typing if you have to shoot, though.

Whew! Yeah theres a known bug with the pre 1.0 exe that writes a slightly different savefile version
so when you get 1.0 it gets a little confused. We were tempted to wipe everyones saves at 1.0 but figure it was worth a little confusion to save all the EA player savefiles
I found a rollout in shellshocker.io
You beed a good precision in the floor, first jump in a box, 2 press "s" and when you fall press w+space
Actumatically you are in the box again, thars wasn't amazing, but if you replicate thar in the tower of some maps you can literally go down and teleport your shelf in the top of the tower
Those edge cases are tough, because they come down to tiny rounding errors where the server and client have a dispute over whether or not you landed on the very edge of that ledge or not.
Allowing the server to "correct" the client by snapping them to their proper position creates a bad experience for the individual player, while allowing the client to correct the server creates a bad experience for everyone, and opens things up to cheating.

My homeworld is contributing +5 Research, and two other planets are contributing +8 and +4. So why does the Research tooltip display +13? It looks like the +4 planet isn't being accounted for in the toolltip. EDIT: Or does the +8 replace the +4, because they're node planets...?

logged all the bugs. for the last, all nodes have the same value so its a display error that they dont both read 8. However, that would mean that your research should be 20, which also doesnt appear to be happening. Do you have that savefile, still?

I'm able to play as Hummer even though he's still locked.

Hummer is locked. I shouldn't be able to select him.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to galaxy screen and select a mission
- Enter the mission screen where you select your overlord.
- Click on Hummer. There should be a light outline around him but the shown overlord won't change. If he doesn't get the outline and you have 2 unlocked overlords, switch to one of them and then click on Hummer.
- Back out and re-enter the mission screen (Hummer is now the selected overlord, including the background and schemes)
- Enter mission and I'm Hummer
Additional Info / Thoughts
I'm sure I've accumulated enough credits by now that once I finish this campaign, Hummer will be unlocked. However he still shows as locked and can not be selected normally. I have not checked if this works with other locked overlords.

Steps to reproduce: examine a fleet's layout and then start a battle.
Additional Info /thoughts: Sometimes I want my fleet set up a certain way to give an advantage versus a flaw in the enemy fleet formation. To me this mostly involves setting up Slug cruisers across from a pair of enemy frigates so I can roll a party ball across both. It is annoying when I carefully set this up and it doesn't work because the enemy fleet isn't laid out in the battle window the way it is on the map. Not by any means a big issue, easy to work around once you figure out the layout is simply reversed..

1: Random spinning. Sometimes, my game will spin, and there's no reason. I'm not even moving my mouse, and it doesn't happen anywhere else.
2: Instant death upon entering a game. Every time I enter a new game, there's at least a 70% chance that I die without even being able to move. I believe this is because of a lag spike when you join a game. I know it's not me, because no other .io game acts this way.

Yeah; sometimes there's a sync issue with swapping weapons. He was probably actually firing a pistol... don't worry; you won't actually get hit by shotgun blasts; the server knows it's a pistol.

If you spam a button, you can get over the maximum character name count (so someone can have a name of hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, which causes the leaderboard to stretch far over your screen).
There is a glitch on one of the maps (I forgot what it is called, it isn't the tower one or the one with the two pits) where you can go in a corner, move your mouse slightly, and see partially through the wall out of your peripheral vision. I can upload a screenshot if that helps

I have one in there now, but Unicode makes things difficult, as does the zillions of combinations of innocuous words which are, on their own, not offensive, but are when put together.
I've thought about throwing an "extreme" filter option in there that would just replace everyone's name with some random thing.

It is laggy for me right now on shellshock, and what i realized is that the frame rate is pretty bad even though it says 50 frames per second, and i hold the grenade for very long before throwing it. Longer then usual. Suggestions: In my opinion, the zoom on the sniper should improve accuracy, for example, when running, accuracy is really bad, but when you zoom in, the accuracy is the same as not zooming in. So accuracy should be faster

Also, the ladders are very finicky. I try to go up the ladder, and i just stand next to it and i have to be in a certain position to go up the ladder
The longer you hold the grenade, the farther it goes. Ladders are always a little tricky. Are you sure it says 50 fps? Your computer might not be good enough to handle it well. Try closing out of other tabs.

my computer usually goes up to 50-60 frames per second on shellshock, although my ping fluctuates a lot

In the folder you got the Save game files from, is it possible to completely delete your settings.dat file and see if the game runs?

The bug can be used, if done right, to alter, to a limited amount, spawn location of Jason and other NPCs. Otherwise, it will softlock the game.

Also, pretty sure it's not intentionally that you can press h at any point, including Murder Marathon & the main menu to talk to Mrs Voorhees.
On top of that, I found out that you don't even need to use Mrs Voorhees during the intro animation to move the NPCs, you just need to time it like I did in the videos, and can be done in any time you have her show the solution.
Spawn location of Jason does need the exploit though.
For shellshockers, on tower, on the floor/balcony part right under the way top, of you go around to the little hidden part on the edge, you can see through the wall on your rigbt

I had a few issues today in Slayaway Camp. Nothing major. When I scared one of the female characters, it played the male scream.
And then another time, when I was doing a level, I was kind of spamming 'r' to go back a turn. Im not quite sure what happened but I bugged in front of one of the SWAT cops and couldnt do anything in-game. I had to completely quit out of it and restart.

And also, I found that some of the girls in SC do scream like men, but since the other way around has happened as well, I figured that the character wasn't the gender I thought they were, so I'm not sure if that's actually a bug

These arent bugs but this is the only channel I can post pictures in. I noticed a few things that may or may not be worth fixing in SC (sorry if it comes off nitpicky, just wanted to make sure you guys know)
- in the Groundhog's description, there's an apostrophe in "sees" that shouldnt be there
- Theres an achievement that says "Unlock the gorepack called Grenade!" and unless Im missing something, theres no gorepack with that name. I probably shouldve tried to unlock it first, but I assume its the one highlighted in the second picture.

Yeah, Chrome decided to screw everyone with their new "Auto-playing of audio content blocked by default" crapola they just pulled with the latest update. At least, I think that's what it is. Should be able to fix it without much trouble, though. Just need to repro it (my mac won't do it for some reason)

I just randomly got the "Hoard" achievement in F13 while grinding in Murder Marathon. I don't even have the Silver & Gold weapons achievement yet. Was playing on 1.7 beta.
Edit: Just earned the silver one, but I got Hoard before that.
in dev.shellshock if you hit class while the animation is going you get stuck on a screen with no options and another where the class/equip will not go away

I'm not sure about the reason behind it either. It popped as I ranked up to 600/601 for my bloodlust. I don't remember which rank exactly.

No, I had traded away a silver weapon, which had a black outline when it popped.
I crafted it back after that, which was how I got the silver achievement.

In dev.Shellshockers, A glitch where a green glow appears for a moment is very normal because of how often it happens. I did it in a private server to show it without me dying

Yea maybe one part kf your body was out of cover
when you get too close to someone in shellshock, you go inside them (this is normal and I don't think it should be changed) but when you shoot while inside that person nothing happens, you dont hit the guy, the bullet doesn't go through the guy you just waste a shot

OK: A few things about the new update:
1: I have major lag a lot more. I think it's more on the new tree map. Possibly the Trees are tough for my computer or something. It's a really cool map, but I have lag.
2: Speaking of trees, sometimes I get stuck in them. If you go near them, it must be with the hit boxes or something, because when I go near them, I glitch in/around them.
4 minutes of shotgun sniper! LITERALLY! it sucks that is didnt do any damage. Also, my chat feature is all fucked up, look in the bottom left

Any time the game just stops moving like that, and everything else appears to be working, it's something in the 3D engine. I've gotten a few reports of lock-ups, black screens, and the like. My bug reporting tool is supposed to notify me of Javascript errors like that, but JS and browsers are notoriously bad about passing that info along.
Now I feel like i should have kept that tab open, knowing how to resolve it

There's a bug in which all of your data gets reset in Killer Puzzle and I'm super pissed off.
In the shellshock map with all the crates, there’s an entrance to the big roofed area that you can jump and stick inside it

Found a F13 PC bug in Murder Marathon, after opening a crate by clicking on it, I'm unable to click on OK or Equip and have to use spacebar to get out of it
This also occurs if I use the spacebar to open the crate
Forgot to mention, I'm on the beta branch
This also applies in conjunction with a controller switching over to mouse on the Equip OK screen, can't click either of them

A few days ago I had a bug where the friend link on shellshock.io didn't work at all. Kept saying no game I'd or doesn't exist anymore on both sides
In shellshockers I keep dying to grenades that are on the other side of a wall or are on a floor above me
I keep dying to someone named N/A and they are invisible, there name isnt on the scoreboard, and the kill isnt in the feed
So i found out its a real person
it happened to my friend and I
we couldnt see eachother and if we shot where the other person should be, they would die from a person named N/A and I would kill someone named named n/a
and the gun models dont change when you switch weapons
ive seen people with full auto shotguns and snipers

When you have a gun out, then after dying and switching to another gun you keep the old gun's bullets.

some people are hacking. they have shotguns that shoot as fast as the rifles in shell shockers

i have been experiencing that also, but only when I have poor connection so that is probably what is happening to you.
That was identified as a bug where the wrong model was visible for the gun being used. So, not a hack - it's a visual error.

Glitch continued after I had killed him and been killed, other than that the game seemed to be working fine.

If a player leaves just before they kill you; like if they jump out after throwing a grenade, for instance, it'll show N/A.
At least, that's the way it works normally....

The new shellshock update was just released and in terms of features like timed rounds, that greta but the overall gameplay is horrible than before, i get a solid 40 ms of ping time and i see eggs glitching around, moving way too quickly, and me not being able to hit them even if i hit a direct shot, basically close combat in this game rn is ass. That's my only complaint, i want to play more but when i cant even hit someone with my shotgun who's like 1 cm away from me it gets frusturating

There are random guns in the middle of the course that keep showing up, firing a few times, the disappearing. I’ve seen this on the warehouse one, and the one with the tree in the middle. I’ve never gotten hit by any of them, but it’s really annoying to have a random gun pop up next to you and start shooting while your in the middle of an intense pvp match

the worst one is that you can randomly stop being visible, and stop being able to shoot, throw grenades, or get shot
basically you become a spectator until you reload the page
or press escape
which brings me to the second bug

but it's a pretty bad feature imo
using anything to get out of pointer lock automatically kills you
It doesn't affect your streak from what I can see
which makes it even worse
as it's a cheap way to escape a fight
though I will give you credit for making it take a few seconds to bring you out of the game
I tried escaping a fight like that and I still died
so it's a bit harder to use it like that
there are a couple more small issues
like multiple items spawning in the same place
and the animations being messed up
I still like all the new features though
just needs a little bit more work

the killstreak is a bit hard to explain, but it was a mistake in the code and it should be fixed to work the same way in dev as in normal shellshock

I keep running into a problem in Shell Shockers where my mouse skips super far in the direction where I aim. It can happen when aiming regularly or scoping. I don't get this issue doing anything else, only in SS.
