From what I checked and encountered in games, there are still 3 more left, and they all share a similar characteristic:
there’s an invisible strip in the middle of air block that bullets and grenades can’t pass through.

There is also a small collision issue in the Greenhouse map.

The Abduction ones are known and we decided to elave them; Wiz liked the blocks and to fix the collision would mean the blocks would need to change; it wasn't a big enough issue and the map wasn't competetive enough that we just decided it was fine to favor aesthetics over function in that specific case

Hi Harrison, on one of the newer maps, Ice Box, the coops, specifically those in the corner, are invisible. I think it might be because they are covered by snow layer thingies but I'm not sure. This makes it incredibly annoying to try and stay on the coop because when you can't see it and are trying to dodge bullets during a takeover, standing still isn't an option. Thanks!

Actual bug report — there are a few bugs in the new map, Sanctuary, including all of the layered pink tiles along the top of the map bugging, and being able to glitch behind a wall on the outside of the map (one of the bush-y labyrinth walls). I’m trying to record the wall glitch, but it’s pretty hard to recreate, which means that it’s probably not an issue worth fixing

hmm! i think this is becuase the pink castle blocks dont have alternate versions unlike the base ones (ex: the base blocks have a normal version and a capped version, and vise versa) I also know that wabbits didnt make the pink castle blocks as those were made by Faith, she might have forgot to make the alternate blocks so thats most likely why the arches are capped and the normal blocks arent

Spot on. To make those arches so they could be elongated, there was a need to make unique blocks that are finicky when used anywhere else. I was always a little nervous knowing this stuff would go out to a public facing editor one day. Certain blocks can only fit in specific ways, otherwise, bugs and ugliness.

2: Removing the snow cover drastically changes the themeing of the map

3: We cant really relocate coops since coops can only be placed on open tiles, and we need to make sure that coops areas make sense as whi is attacking, is it big or small, shape is manly, etc

That wasn't the issue, the issue is that when you're trying to take it over and you can't see where it is exactly and you're also trying not to just stand still and get shot, it's really easy to accidentally step off for a moment and then the takeover is reset. It's not a massive bug or anything but it should still be fixed since the map is in the KOTC rotation, even if it shouldn't be

could they not just make a new coop block that's slightly higher than the original so that on snow cover you can still see it? like i dont know anything about coding but wouldnt you just copy the code and then shift it up a bit on the y axis height? that can't be hard to code for proffesional coders to work out. even if the hitbox is the same as the original, just make it visually raised up a bit so that it's not so much of a bug anymore

Because of how the map editor works you can only place one block/tile in each block slot. For that to work, you’d have to have the ground overlay for the coop an entire block above the snow layer which would look odd

ok so you do know that babylon isnt unity

if we make a new coop block thats shifted,, then we cant connect that block to the normal coop blocks

becuase all coop blocks have to be TOUCHING to connect

and since babylon is a shitty engine, its even more hard to add a condition that connects the taller coop to normal ones

once a map is compiled/rendered, all blocks are now just one big model since the game deletes anything that the player cant see (ex: insides of blocks are removed if they are touching other blocks)

any faces that are hidden get removed basically

what this means is that you cant make custom dynamics for these kinds of blocks, (like for instance we cant connect the normal coop to the taller one UNLESS they can)

Alright idk if this is just me but the game feels WAY laggier than it used to. 3 months ago I would be able to chill on <20 ping consistently on my home server (USW). Now it is randomly between 10 and 70, usually resting at 50. Which wouldn't be so bad if it actually worked that way. However, I'm always lagging and rubberbanding and blanking, even on low ping, and I really don't think my wifi is the problem here. Shell has been getting laggier despite hosting less players for a while now. My computer is up to date, my wifi is fine, so why is this? It very well could be on my end but I also think the game is getting more laggy. Any ideas how to fix this? Also maybe future updates could be more focused on lag reduction rather than 20 new stamps, an old rereleased gun skin set, and a new community map, because I think this would be way more helpful for players than all of that stuff.

Refresh is really the only one. It DOES happen rarely without clicking too fast, has happened to me, but nothing we can really do about it at this time in those situations.

Well DUH of course there is, but thats in the sense that she only fixes small issues like triangulating meshes, etc. regarding that my point stands as some community skinsets have various issues with vertex paint and geometry. Yet she still didnt fix them. Im sure my hats arent even edited and just have a tiny few geometry changes, i sent wizups 30 hats and only 7 of them got ingame possibly becuase they rather are adding more of them later this year or couldnt fit in updates.

No no. She changes whole designs sometimes. Sometimes they purely use your design as an "idea" and create their own version of it. This has happened a couple of times actually. And alot of the time she also needs to completely redo the colours, because there are like 5 shell designs that actually know how it needs to be done in blender in order for it to actually work in game.

Congrats on getting items in game. its a great feeling. But the devs cant see that adding 30 hats no one is ever going to use after the first week of them being out doesnt help keep the community. But adding 1 hat for a league every 3 months that has kept hundreds of players within the game and community cant be done anymore, because they prefer to spam shit instead.

And again, quantity isnt too impressive. The constant spam of skins, maps, assets (this isnt targeted at you btw its at alot of people and the devs) isnt helping keep thge game alive. Its hurting it so much more than you realise. But you refuse to see that and listen to the people that have been around for ages and know what has driven others away from the game.

It could be so simple to fix alot of the problems with player activity and activity and game function. But they aren't interested it in. Otherwise it would have been fixed a long time ago. Shell is dead and honestly its probably too late to save unless they actually start looking and listening to the community
