When i get on for the first time of the day, my game loads, i try to join the game (play button/private games) but the bar is stuck in between the halfway point and people say clear your cache, which works, but i start spiking to 500-1000 ms. After i reload my game it just doesn't work anymore. Anyone know why? i play on a hotspot btw since my interntet isnt working

hotspot usually isn't the best internet, so Im not super surprised its 500-1000ms; have you tried going to a different location and trying internet there?

im sure im not the only one who experiences this, but when shooting primary, and then switching to secondary, there is a chance that the pistol is glitched and wont deal damage, sometimes even affecting the melee

another one i seem to encounter is glitching between floors, especially on maps with jumpers(those jump boost pads) and that causing a lot of confusion

@indigo nova if you know a solution to, or are already aware of these things, and know if they are being fixed, please let me know, because losing high ks to this has been very demotivating and counterintuitive to long term playability

The servers are glitching a lot recently, a common bug ppl are getting is the game just disconnects u without u knowing. I havent seen this happen when everyone is spawned in. Unfortunately, I don't think anything on our end can be done. if the server works for other people, it's not the server's issue.

That means the issue is local. You have a decent internet speed, and don't get high ping in other games, so we can rule out that.
So that means the issue isn't in Shell, or in your internet, but more likely in HOW your internet CONNECTS to shell.

Ping is the amount of time that it takes for your device to communicate witht he server, which means something is delaying that communication, and my best bet is somewhere in your internet or firewall settings, your computer is blocking or throttling something, and I'll be honest, I don't know what, nor can I safely tellyou to change your firewall settings

my guess for this one is that you aren't synced with the map youre in, and the game thinks youre on a different map with different pickups and map geometry

hmm. No extensions and a fully cleared cache should basically be an incog window, so no clue why it would be doing that then. Only thing I can think is some inoccuous extension is causing the problem, maybe not even related to shell.

I've noticed a couple of issues with Firefox and Shellshockers in the past couple of days: The first is what I can only describe as getting 144 fps, but it feels like 60, as in I had 144 fps in-game, but all my mouse movements felt like they were at 60 FPS (On Pc (this might have to do with the fact that I just got a "new" monitor)). The second bug I found was in the editor, where after I left or right-clicked to place a block, my crosshair was locked in place and didn't let me drag it around to place more blocks (Mac).

the displayed ping is snapshotted once the page loads and doesn't update again (thought the actual ping is constantly updating). so if you have a minor lag spike based on your internet or your processing speed etc, the ping willlook higher in the server menu
