I was trying to call out player "ChickPro80" for cheating with aimbot, but all other players said there is no "ChickPro80".
So I span up another player in incognito mode in the same lobby. There is indeed no "ChickPro80", but presumably thisi "ShellPro88" is the same player.

In other times, randomized player names matched for me, so I couldn't reproduce this bug.

Yes, it's kind of a weird edge case. I only know this bug is here in the following same situation:
called out a player for cheating, others said there is no such player, then I spanned up a new player in inncognito mode to verify. There was indeed no such player name but other randomized name who was that cheating player

Maybe the cheats javascript in-inject used by that player with randomized name has something to do with this.

But it does not explain why on blue team here, another player with randomized name "CaptainChick53" on the left was "MasterChick6" on the right. Unless that player was also using cheats script.

The randomized name on reds matched up tho.

Since the latest update, if you die scoped on mobile you'll spawn in scoped

I don't understand why you guys are using your time on doing dumb updates when you could very well be fixing blanks, fixing glitches, maybe even anti-cheat or making it an app?? And your excuse is to come out and say that you guys need to "change up the meta"?? I mean what did you change up? Just break the guns more. I get that blanks suck, but the game is played in multiple regions with multiple different degrees of computer performance and internet speeds.
The way the game is designed allows for all of those factors to be taken into account and provide the most baseline experience for all users, as opposed to giving the top-of-the-line computers with the 20gig fiber internets free hitscans on the school chromebook kids

But the future updates will fix the **glitches **and cheating it takes time though they can't just do it all in one day

Personally, with my 285k total kills experience, I don’t notice any blank if any.

The hit can happen anywhere inside the bloom before it is fully converged/closed. Most of time, blanks happen this way.

The blanks that happen due to network latency are very rare I would say. Devs already did a good job in this regards to accommodate players from different regions, internet speed/latencies and computer hardwares in the same lobby. You cannot prevent other players from other region from joining the regional lobby that they are not intended to be in. These players would high pings, potentially affecting other players to have blanks for these high-latency players. But this is inevitable.

Shell Shock started as a browser game is successful, I would say. It even rolled mobile version to accommodate mobile user who don’t have access to computer.

Even though shell shocker already has lots of supports from many discords communities, It is still true that shell shock is struggling with popularity, making it lack in fund to implement some of features us players have been longing for, like anti-cheat. As you can see when Wizups stream every bi-weekly in twitch, there are only about 100 viewers in average.

Very true, but I believe most people who have stopped playing the game were players who have played the game for 3+ years, making the game just boring for them which happens to almost every game. I don't really know anyone who has quit because of blanks or cheaters, not saying anyone hasn't, just saying I haven't seen it. I also think that this game, for only being a browser game, has really done it's job for what it is supposed to be. An egg based shooting game 😂 Although the game has blanks and cheaters that's just what you expect to happen at any game. Some games fix it and some games don't. I hope BWD dev's in the future fix it but we'll just have to wait and see but hey what do I know? I've play this game about a year ago and recently just came back (this is just my opinion by the wait, don't hate)

Was grinding kotc in a private match with Wes on mobile, and when I switched to AK even when I had my auto fire settings on, the the shoot button was still visible and let me shoot either way, by pressing it or just looking at the egg like you would with auto fire on.

And I can show the feature of being able to shoot both ways if you need that

latency is my guess. If you slow it down bit by bit, you can see on your kill that you hit them, your bullet pinged against the wall behind them, and then they landed and died. Means they took a bit for the server to tell them they died, so your other shot probably counted as a grazed hit on them

Yeah, thats cuz the "eggs spent" is not actually counting the eggs spent, but instead is adding the cost of all the items in your account

so when you win an item from Chick'n Winner that has an egg value assigned to to it, it will increase that total

Is this player cheating with aimbot or not?

I encountered this player who certainly monitored this #🐛・bug-reports channel, and followed the lobby link (where Wizups helped boot out a cheater) here in the afternoon to target me. I thought he/she was a skilled player except some attitude issues.
I welcome challenges and respect skilled player. But after reviewing the gameplay footage, I notice that his/her aiming speed is somehow not natural to me. More like that of an aimbotter.

This footage contains 2 parts
(1) He/she made a 180 turn, fired 1st shot his scrambler and killed my teammate, then instantly turned back 180 to face me and fired the 2nd shot of the scrambler, damaging 75% of my health. The point here is that I believe no skilled player could turn this fast, and use scrambler with that accuracy, all within 2 shot-clip of scrambler.

(2) I jumped to the floor, and he/she made a really quick, almost instantly, 90 turn to aim at me. There was another player on his/her team noticing me and turning with him/her at the same time, but that reference player was turning at a more natural speed.

I have to ask: why does shell have such a big issue known as blanks, which is a critical problem to the game since it makes players' direct shot to the face not do a SINGLE hint of damage, and the devs are CLEARLY aware of it but won't fix it. Instead, they have decided to use their time and resources to make weapon updates to 'balance' the game but worse is they actually made the weapons even MORE unbalanced by allowing cs players to 360s on a 10 min bases. So my questions is: why does shell shockers have the legendary bug called blanks and other fps games don't have this? Are the devs putting in effort to fix this? Because after all this time I've had enough of half of my shots not doing damage. I hope we understand the problem here, and will do the according actions to deal with it.

We aren't defensive about most bugs, and we often work with people who report them to find ways to resolve them locally on their end or fix it on ours.
The issues you are describing are not present for myself, or most other players who play the game, so in order to fix the issue, we would need to diagnose what about your setup is triggering the problem. If we don't see the issue or know it exists, we cannot fix it.

What type of computer are you using, and how often does this happen for you? Have you tried other browsers or incognito windows?

As an aside, we have a pretty small team of specialists who each do different things, so the people whoa re designing our skins are not the same people who do (or even could) fix issues in the game. Each update, we do more than just add new skins.

I'm using a thinkcentre pc, and it happens every day, 80% of the time I'm playing and it doesn't matter, my fps and ping can be stable with 60 fps and 14 ms the entire time and I will still have the bug. I've tried microsoft, I've tried opera, I've tryed incognito, everything, still like that.

If you can move your mouse to select options and click things, all the way up until you click Play and then your mouse becomes unresponsive in game, that usually means something is blocking our game from hijacking your mouse to control the camera/gun. nothing SHOULD be doing that in an incognito window though, I haven't heard of a firewall blocking just the mouse, and you aren't on Safari which has that problem...
If that specific problem happens for you again, please grab a log of it and send it to me and I can pass it along

you can shoot, you can't control your egg though. other thing is you move only in one direction, AS SOON AS your fps drops by 3-5, it happens, ping doesn't matter. It's not even the mouse you can still turn and stuff using your mouse but you can't stop moving unless you despawn, which then gives you an ad, and then you die and then you die again because you can't move

The next time you can't move your egg, can you try pressing the key that isn't working ~4 times, then pressing enter and pressing it another 4~ times?

it's all the other three keys, you can't reload with r, everything doesn't work. To reload you need to shoot and then press shoot like 5 times again to make it reload

You can spam the keys but it won't work

And if you are stuck moving in one direction, try pressing Enter. Basically, I'm curious if theres something causing your keyboard to malfunction and be unresponsive or stuck. Doesn't have to be a mechanical thing with the keyboard necessarily, but it helps to know if its a matter of the keyboard is sending responses and the game isn't getting them, or whether it's certain funtions of the reponses the game is ignoring

Could be the drop is causing the bug, or could be the bug is causing the drop. Maybe the failure to receive the inputs is causing a performance jam

So hopefully if we can figure out what is going on, the FPS drop should clear up, or we can see what is happening

Sometimes an ad is loaded while playing the game, and even if it isn't shown, it can still cause a slight hiccup. Possible thats what you're seeing with your frame drop

Make sure it's shown in your Extensions in the top right of Chrome and try playing the game a bit, let me know if the issue still persists

Bug: Whenever an ad loads up, it immediately closes(I don't have my adblocker turned on for shell shockers). Then it spawns me into the game but with the menu showing. I can't move, shoot, or even click anything. I have to press my Escape key to exit out of the bug and spawn again. Sometimes, it literally freezes my screen and I can't click, shoot, or even move. I played the game for a while and when I got a lot of stats, the game asked me to create an account so I didn't lose anything. I registered an account, logged into it and I have absolutely nothing saved. Is it possible to return at least some part of the statistics?

bug: when i try and take a transparent photo on my macbook the egg is not centered and i am left with often a blank image if i take a photo with a background or zoom out to 50% then the egg is centered idk if it is some resolution issue or something
