Morning, wizups! I was at Owl’s stream yesterday. It was kind disheartening that Owl said he would no longer stream shell for the summer, and not sure when he will stream shell again because (1) not many ppl watch shell during summer (2) many streamers left shell also because of lack of viewers (3) Owl was upset that you raided Mafia instead of him last Friday.
Could BWD do something to have Owl back? :c

Yes, I wholeheartedly agreed on the love sharing aspect of the raid.
BWD’s raid makes up a significant portion of viewers (~40) to any shell streamer.
Because not many people (~3) stream shell at the same time.
And these people streaming shell usually have about very small and consistent viewers (<5) unless it is Owl or Mafia and other reputable shell streamers (~25 viewers).
I understand Owl’s upset also has to do with stream time overlap with BWD’s stream on Friday. He streams shell on Monday and Friday for 7 hours each. But on Friday, majority of his viewers would go to BWD stream, leaving him alone. He was asking if there was anyone who would talk to him last Friday, because no one was in his stream/chat. He kind of expected that he could have viewers back after BWD stream ends but it didn’t happened. It was sad. Sigh.
I do wish more people could watch shell twitch stream and start playing shell.
Little bit of topic, Wizups you talked about new user retention last Friday and the ads being main profit for BWD. We’d also wish the user retention for long time players and streamers could be thought through more. There could be more content/reward for this group of ppl. For example, I have playing shell for more than 4 years, bought everything in the shop and close to 400k lifetime kill. But I am not sure what I am playing or grinding for. I do love the game. But I also understand that BWD is a very small team, so I wholeheartedly appreciate what we have right now, e.g. challenge etc.

I mean I'm not sure why owl was complaining about not being raided one time. During drops, it was pretty hard to raid, because I thought i would raid someone then another would complain about not being raided by me. There was some times when I didn't get raided by wiz even when the choices were limited to a few/2 people. I was a bit upset but didn't complain any further and didn't threaten to "retire" shell. If a streamer raids another streamer, then some other streamer gets mad and complains that they didn't get raided, that's too bad. At the end of the day, it's ultimately the streamer's choice on who is best to raid. And if what you're saying here is one of reasons why owl is stopping shell, then that is his problem.
