This is the weird skip I talked about (he helped me upload it). These kind of skips only appeared a few days ago. Also, this is the forward skip. Sometimes, people get skipped backward from the same areas. Not sure whether this info is of any interest to you guys.

https://youtu.be/wlmaRTT79Uw in this skipless full game speedrun i made at around 13:07 you see how I fall off the ramp even though i go through the boost. this definately is a glitch and you can also see a similar glitch on space. also to get this glitch or bug on both maps you drive off the same area. i don't know but it does seem like these ramps have a small problem around that area where i drove off in this run. pls fix it as it currently can ruin runs and fixing it won't have any negative affect on the speedrunning side of the game (as i don't think there is any cuts attributed to those specific ramps)

for a new gamemode idea i have an idea where it just a square a big square right that has item boxes all over it. the thing is if you fall of the square your dead. this is multiplayer so you can play with friends. also the item boxes near the edge are better because its more risk. also have it to where the square gets smaller and smaller so its not just camping in the middle. i dont know but i do think it'll be fun with friends if the items are actually more powerful than it currentyl is

if you change your ingame name to bigbrainz it makes your head bigger. it stacks too, so you can keep changing your name to bigbrainz and your head will get even bigger. theres also a code called stachetime. if you change your name to stachetime you get a mustache

Also in terms of speed running I briefly looked through the code, and I’m pretty sure that you can actually remove lakitu walls. This would obviously make time trials a lot easier (jungle and snow would be easy to break off the top of my head), if Lily ever finds a version with time trials.

something crazy just happened to me on mountain'

i got it on recording

sadly lap didnt count but if it did that wouldve been ~16.4 seconds

i hypothesise that the reason it didnt count is because the finish line doesnt have a hitbox in this game and instead theres like a value that says how far in the level you are and the mini map uses this to display where you are on the map which is why its so innacurate when you go out of bounds but i think the way the finish line works is just when you go over a specific value that says how far on the track youve driven, thats when it counts the lap up. but as you can see in the video, when i finally get close enough to the track that it thinks im there, it updates my position to right infront of the finish line, and since the finish line wasnt crossed, it assumes i went backwards instead of forwards, and then blue wiz continues to pull me backwards through the finish line and the lap doesnt count.

cus otherwise the finish line had to extend like this far which it definitely doesnt because then clouds last lap skip would be a lot easier

I hypothesise that if you get lakitued further up instead of right there, you could maybe hit it. Next time try and go to the left, and use your boosts ther if possible. This is really cool!

Maginchos skip is a lag skip

This gives me a theory on lag skips. If you have a good amount of lag it ca destabilize the lakitu zones and in some cases remove them. With a lot of lag it can add them and completely move them around. That’s the difference between the space and city between jungle

On space and city it grabs you and pulls you where the zones originated. So, despite city having a lakitu zone right on the bleachers, the lag causes the zones to move and flip maybe. I think this works because there’s a backwards city skip also. Space the lakitu zone just moves to around the intended skip so you get crazy skips to the zone that it originates on

brings up a menu that looks like this. you can give yourself wins and completions by pressing a button and you can get all unlocks on one button. you can turn off the race intro but it also skips 2 seconds of charging up the start boost so that sucks. then you can also turn on infinite laps you can give yourself any power up in any game mode. i just gave myself 3 triple mines on space and got a 35 lol. you can stop the run at any time so you can get like 0.00.200 and you can just spam give yourself boosts and you can literally fly like this is so fucking awesome

okay so I think his strat isnt worth it

if it is it saves so little that its better to take the boost unless you can get it inside

my 48.1 run gets a 16.5 lap 1 while you can really only get 16.6's with it consistently i would assume

even then I think that if you do try to go inside the offroad part slows you down a lot because you cant accelerate quickly
