that is a huge difference in this game

Guys, I've played HUNT for almost 700 hours now, and honestly, it's a really fun game, but its developer, Crytek, isn't exactly a competent developer.
These are some issues I've encountered while playing this game; perhaps some of you have also run into them.
1：While improving game graphics, HUNT 1896 also introduced extremely poor optimization.
2：Numerous texture errors and bugs remain unfixed, resulting in extremely poor game stability.
Sometimes you can even feel that the game is running amidst a pile of bugs.
3：If you can tolerate all of the above issues, then congratulations! The UI changes in 1896 are, in my opinion, the biggest failure of this game.
4：Many players complain that the banning and detection of cheaters is not efficient enough, which is killing the game.
The above issues are the reasons why many players are dissatisfied, and also the reason why I am increasingly losing faith in this game.

Well,as someone with 300h,here's my take
1.Optimization is fine on my end, i get 80-100 fps on a 3050 6gb with medium-high(shadows on low) and dlss performance, i'd say it's good for my gpu
2. Yeah idk about the ui changes cuz i have only been around since judgement of the fool event but personaly,ui is pretty bad for new players but fine for experienced ones

I recently encountered a bug while playing Hunt: Showdown. My teammates and I were unable to enter the game five times in a row; the game kept displaying an error message saying we needed to reconnect to the game or exit to the lobby. I am extremely disappointed with Crytek incredibly slow and inefficient game development and bug fixing capabilities.

I think you all know that HUNT has a bug that has been around since ancient times and still cannot be fixed to this day.
That is, when a player disconnects and tries to reconnect to the game, they are unable to use their microphone upon re-entering the game.

Reconnect issues are server/network infrastructure related, not so much engine related. It'd probably take switching server providers (which would cause plenty of other unforeseen problems) to be able to really tackle it completely.
Still, it's frustrating as all hell when it happens

Sounds like it's recording through a mic. Also make sure you have the Sound settings correct. Mine keeps getting changed to 48000Khz or 88200Khz for some reason, which can bug out the special sound.

Wat? The attack arc is its best feature along with being able to apply bleed. Also its stamina is better compared to other melee weapons such as the regular knife

I don't know how anyone could consider it useless when its good at clearing concertina wire and killing ai quickly. For me personally killing hunters is a helluva lot easier due to that wide arc.

And it was mostly caused by throwing spears being so busted

After spears being nerfed twice they were still too good

So Crytek buffed the knives and axes

Now we are in the bad position of throwing weapons just being the superior option vs the non throwing counterparts

its fair because most people dont actually use it well. if they use it to camp a corner near your rotations and wait for you to fight someone before assblasting you into one tap territory, or finishing you off, you dont really have counterplay when fighting someone else and getting tagged. its faster than you, and small, very fun

but most of the time, theyre just pests that bet on you not being able to melee them consistently, they only really kill you if youre bleeding and burning without surefoot. so people will just say its weak and not actually that strong because it needs teamplay and shit
