The other 2 accounts had more friends and games, but both had game bans less than 100 days ago. They were laughing in proximity chat and yelling in mandarin whilst continuously attempting to wallbang my team through 4 sets of walls and metal.
This goes beyond the reasoning "we want to allow friends to play from across the world"

The reputation of some regions having a higher % of cheaters (whether its true or not is a different story) adds another layer to the perception of poor match integrity because not only should they in theory not be on the server because of ping but they also might be cheating. I believe this is where a lot of frustration from players comes from

   Think of MMR like decimal numbers where in your case you must be 4.9*and your friend is 3.9 (just guessing). The team below are probably lower 4 stars, maybe like 4.1 or 4.2. I'm oversimplifying and could still be wrong.

slugs usually extend the one hit range of shotguns and generally have less damage falloff over buckshot, but you get fewer slugs to shoot and they are pretty expensive. Also since slugs are just one projectile you have much smaller margin of error, either you hit or you dont whereas a poor aimed buckshot blast will still do some damage, unless if you just whiff completely
