This is likely an online gaming issue such as desync or latency. Just from my experiences, there is frequently desync or latency regardless of ping or internet speeds. Someone has told me the game uses input queueing (no clue what that is), but based on what it sounds like, I would not be surprised as there’s many other times where I might be spamming my interact key but game too slow to register. This is frequently something I bitch about specifically when fighting dogs with my spear.
