That’s one thing that sometimes makes me resist fighting bounty holders is because of that dark sight, I’m usually stingy with it so I don’t use it often. It may be different fighting teams of people since they can check more often

But I tell myself “can’t learn if I don’t fight”

you always do get their approximate location all the time though. so it's a double edged sword. when you're a bounty holder making a stealthy flank is near impossible. only possible if you have a teammate with no bounty which can be an advantage as people will be tunnel visioned around the lightning bolts

meanwhile DS holders only get 5 seconds of near exact location

so it's definitely not a complete advantage

can be detrimental too especially if you dont have long range guns

Flamethrowers are a legit fun weapon to use when mixing with long ammo. If you get pushed but want to remain at a distance they are a good utility weapon to block off an entrance for some time, or you can come around the corner with pre-fire if you are aware of the enemies loadout.
