no one is perma stuck any mmr, you choose your mmr based off what you do. Personal mmr is determined by the players rank you killed, or got killed by. You lose more mmr being at 6 star and a 3 star kills you, just like you gain less if you kill a 3 star as a 6 star. It's much easier to stay in 6 star because of the way the mmr system works. If you play trios with even a singular 6 star even if you are a 2 star, you will be placed in a lobby with other 6 stars. And when you're 6 star, you really only need 1 kill per 2 deaths in order to sustain 6 star because the 6 star bracket is as vast as 2 star - 5 star

u can’t shoot during the transition so it buffers your input
